The irony of AFL Membership is it actually gets easier to get tickets the further Collingwood progress in the finals.

First 2 weeks: open slather for all Gold & Silver members
Prelims: Gold get first dibs
Grand Final: guaranteed ticket if Collingwood are there

It means I'm more nervous about getting tickets for this game than any potential other finals we play this year.

Yep, very true.

Myself and the group I go to games with missed out on the QF against Geelong last year for this reason. Fingers crossed for 12 o'clock.

Crazy that it's easier to get a Grand Final ticket than even a Home and Away ticket against Essendon on ANZAC Day

Why they don't apply the Grand Final rules for EVERY match is beyond crazy

Couldn't get two seats on L2 so picked Q16 Row G. Son said long range forecast was for rain, so passed on L2A (or P).

True! It's a great membership to have when the pies are in the granny!

Just got my ticket - M18 in the open - hope it's dry, but I'm pretty happy with that!

Initially told me the best available was at the top. Pfft. Tried a few different areas and went back to best available and got M19.

App was quicker, PC is still trying to get in.

I left my PC refreshing. It got in about 12.13 (so prob 8 mins longer).

Do people think there's much chance of a general public on-sale for this game or do you think members will sell it out?

It’s unlikely. I reckon I was stitched up, but “best available” for single seats in the AFL reserve was level 4 and I got through by 12:08. I’ve only got myself to blame though because I was on ticketek 2-3 minutes late. It’s the hottest ticket in town.

I received the confirmation pretty quickly. Check the junk mail. If you have the ticketek app it will also show your ticket under the "tickets" button on bottom right.
