I actually think Collingwood's list is scary good going into next year.
McRae seems a good operator.
Maybe i'll be wrong though.

North can't be much worse than this year.
Under Clarkson we should see some improvement.
LDU has improved massively and we have Cunners back.

Saints seem a bit of a shambles to me.
Sacking and then searching for a new coach so late
will probably be disruptive to the playing group.
Their list isn't good enough i can see
teams going past them.

You forgot to include Carlton in your top 4 (even though there is absolutely nothing to suggest that they will finish there).

Very rough guess and trade/free agency period will certainly lead me to feel have a better idea.

Not really a ladder predictor more order of more likely to be a good season to bad.

Now the trade period done have a bit more idea but still will change again when see the fixture, but probably not too much difference.
Think the top half of ladder will change from week to week with not much difference in top ten teams.
Think Crows, Port and Essendon will improve but too many teams above them will improve too.
Hawks after trade period made me realise without five or six of their regular senior players from recent four to five years they will be less stable and will struggle to win a lot of matches but their backline is ok, so not too many thrashings. Tigers with Hopper and Taranto in the middle should be right in contention. Lions with Dunkley and Gunston is some nice pieces to balance them up better so they would have to feel they serious contender. Fremantle with Luke Jackson and O'Meara is just the type of injection of ready made talent that could boost their chances again. Clearly Cats with Tanner Bruhn and Ollie Henry should more than offset the retirement of Selwood and would back themselves again.
Swans had a poor grand final but when you running into a team on 15 match winning streak it can happen so I do not write them off based on that. Bulldogs with Liam Jones and Rory Lobb add some needed key defence and ruck division strength but lost Dunkely and Hunter so it harder to read how they should go but I will still have them nominally in the finals based on list talent at this point. Pies and Suns to round out the top ten which would almost be divsion one and sense teams after that are not in the real race.

I think it will be one of the more interesting seasons for a while. There's a lot of teams clearly thinking they're in the window and loading up for it and a lot clearly well off it looking to rebuild. Probably resemble a local league more than it has for a long time with the top teams handing out some smackings to the lower ones consistently and possibly even a top tier set early in the season. Then again there's always surprises.
