Since Modra its been filled by Byrne, Nelson, Fergus Watts, Griffin, Gunston, Luke Thompson, Lever, Gibbs, Hately.

No? I remember him being a classic case of "first round pick that underdelivered and now wants to return to his home state". The feeling was we were getting him at a bargain basement price because he had failed to deliver, and maybe he could turn it around from the comfort of home but nobody was very confident.

In any event, all four delistings are obviously sensible decisions. No point in keeping any of them around clogging up our list when we've actually got some decent draft capital this year.
Unless a high-quality backman falls into our lap in the trade period for next to nothing, I'd prefer to just keep Borlase. He's fine, shouldn't cost us much, and will be replaced once Murray returns anyway.

Considering how often my body makes noises from basic movements I bloody wish I was.
I just don't see the point of waiting around, if we win a flag noone will care about the finesse of the moves, plus memberships go up with each big signing as would the belief of the players. I just think there is a lot of good to come from it than just draft capital.

Not sure why a few folk here are getting stiffy's over Petty.
He's just done a linsfranc that Melbourne described as substantial and will require considerable rehab. But they're confident he'll ok "in the long run".
Haven't we already got enough players with long term injuries?
Including Taylor and Jones, who are also both happen to be recovering from linsfranc injuries. And some players are just never the same

It wont be macadam I suspect that may be part of a separate 3 way trade which may involve grundy and hayward as reported

I remember some in the media when we signed on Sloane saying we had plenty of list spots. It doesn't look that way. Two main list spots and three Rookies.
Himmelberg would create a spot but I feel we would need to replace him with a depth Ruck / forward. We also need to keep Borlase or get another key defender.
I would be shocked if a club isn't offering Gollant three years.
