Mod notice after Mr Bob did a lot of annoying work in moving days of posts out of here. As we are heading into offseason, this thread is for 2023 list management only. Getting upset on previous trades can be taken to the vent thread. Lets keep this thread on track in the part of the year it's actually relevant

There’s no way they will let this happen. The other 17 clubs would tear the comp to the ground.

I'm going to be very unhappy when Young selects Collingwood for Liam.
He's a big loss, just like Acres. Different player, but a big loss.
Freo are never going anywhere if they keep losing these development players

I'm thinking you are referring to Cerra as the other development player? That trade is actually a positive for us.

Reckon Jeremy Sharp may be a bit harder to get across after Hardwick going to the Suns.
It just got harder for us to get a maiden Flag.
Hardwick a much better coach than Longmuir obvs

I’ve been a big fan of Freddy on a wing. As long as he‘s stamina is good enough, he has all the tools to be an excellent wingman.

Blues fans were calling for Voss to be sacked, every player to be dropped. Things can switch in an instance. Which is why I can’t get on the whole “I can’t see our list winning a flag” mentality

Hard to imagine they were that far off with an elite set of mids & 2 prime aged Coleman medalists.

This year maybe but everyone was on here shouting how overrated their list is and how they are always shit while I was here telling everyone it can turn around quickly and your bottom players can be improved through coaching and what not. Do people really think Blues cant win a flag still sometime in the next few years?

It's an emotional past time, I get it but there is like 3 examples every year of a club that is "no where near it" turning it around and contending or making finals. It is an extremely even competition where the smallest things can make the biggest difference. Am I certain we win a flag with this group? No, obviously not but I am certain at the very least there is a building block of a team for 10 years that can be there or there abouts which is what matters because no one has half a clue who is suddenly going to be a premiership threat. We have almost all the pieces that are the hardest to find if you think Jackson is as special as he looks.

Although he hasn’t played a game for GC this year. Suspect his papers are already signed. They need to clear space for points for picks.
They have 8 picks they need to clear a lot of players. He was almost gone last year, doesn’t play this year, suspect the deal has already been signed and Freo pick him as a delisted free agent and we do a pick swap with GC.

Go through any Carlton main board thread and the non-freo thread on here and see where all the BF experts had them. Where did we all have Saints or Port finishing this year. I wont say we will definitely be contending next year but people writing off the list are short-sighted

I’m happy to stamp his papers too.

Guy is a momentum killer that lacks penetration and the ability to hit the score board. If Freo can turn Henry into a second rounder they should take it and run.
