Fremantle would be in a position to match a deal for Darcy to force a trade with a side. Basically every single restricted free agent can be matched on terms of length and dollars, clubs just choose not to.

It would depend on whether the club he moves to can provide us a better deal than the compensation pick.

If Fremantle is a top eight side the single compensation pick would be bad, but if North throw $2,000,000 at him then we can get them to burn their first round pick one way or another.

I'm still expecting Sean to be the Christmas gift contract extension, but last time I said that the other player was announced within hours... so let's see how it goes this time.

At this point I'm worried about anyone with 2 years or less on their contract until it actually gets announced by the club.

it’s really the key to everything isn’t it? Listened to Cox interview and they asked him what made him commit to Freo for so long and the first thing he said was his partner.

Yes but he's been in the league so long now that it's obvious that he just can't develop his tank.

Weird, because I assumed every player could but evidently not.

Like Brodie I absolutely flipping hate running but I forced myself and got my 2km under 7 mins. My next target is 6:30. If I can do it than so can he, especially if that's his damn job. So many players in the league with the tools to be the best but lack the drive.
