Instead of just posting absolute crap, have a listen to what Brady said on SEN this morning. Unfortunately too many people just shoot their mouths off and get stuck into the club rather than trying to find out why we did what we did last night

I’m overseas and my post was made before Brady went on SEN. So what was the reason? Unfortunately, I don’t have access to what Brady is going to say on radio before he says it. And, I’m sorry. But how is that absolute crap? The way that club came out and changed the narrative of the jhf saga after the trade, significantly impacted the media narrative that came down on north for the last two years. The narrative being an unsafe, and an unprofessional environment. What did I say that was wrong?

I understand what you are saying KC. But if it is the poster i think it is that you are referring to, then I think it is incumbent on him to also not contribute to the dialogue, by arrogantly posting how he is always right and by implication most of the rest of us here are wrong.

This is surely a forum where people should, where there may be conjecture and disparity on various matters, they should post opinions, rather than always claiming superiority over the views of others. Just my opinion.

Gerard was asking about the teens picks to move up after we decided not to slide down and he answered about a future first which wasn’t being alluded to

In the end I think 15 and 17 for 8
Is a better deal than 10,14 and future second (pick around 35) that crows offered for 8 and 16

GWS took gothard and Leake, there’s a fair chance they’d be available at the 15-17 range or someone just as good

Their hand would have been 15,16 and 17 instead of 10, 14 and future second

Well as l sit here looking at the sun slowly setting over the hills…..lm absolutely chuffed with all of the new talent that we have grabbed (including fish, Biggy, Toby and Dylan) to play for this club…loved Harry and George welcoming the recruits…but most of all listening to McKercher, Duursma, Goad and Hardeman….they are thrilled to be coming..not long ago *jh…..cough or insert names would have cringed at the thought of playing here. And Big Mail man grabbing the jumper and proudly posting on socials how freaking awesome…the wheel is turning even with this year of the dawks bs…..credit to Sonja,Tod,Brady and co…..major steps taken…still some to go…
I love the off-season the drama and fierce debate finishing with the drafts….as one magnificent poster outlined here we now have 21 players under 21 on our list….but boy are they exciting…. kudos to Gr and the other dude who’s name escapes me with all of the inter league footage, interviews ect to allow us an idea of who these kids were…enjoy a restful break if you guys are able to…..
So take a breath ………and get to know these kids…enjoy the moment of them arriving at our club and celebrate as a north supporter….what an exciting time.

I think Brady was actually talking about what the discussed deal was and it obviously involved the F1. I'd also guess to beat WCE F1 it may have also been a swap of 15 with their 16 or something to beat the WCE F1 offer, otherwise they would've just taken WCE F1.
Your proposed deal might be the better value than just gaining in reality a F2 but it doesn't get them the players they wanted as they were gone by our pick. It may have gotten them Gothard but I doubt it gets them Leake.
