If we want McKercher, why would we trade pick 2 if we know WC will take him with that pick? In that case, we should be trading pick 3 instead.

Because both clubs have Reid and McKercher 1 & 2 on their boards, according to current trends. Why would they trade for neither of them?

We've got to give up something to get our main target.

Well in that case, WC choose which one they want and we take the other. No use throwing away an extra pick for nothing.

Hey giantroo Mick Ablett was on SEN with Cal Twomey (I think between 11 and midday) and asked what he’d do if he was list manager for WC and/or North, based on his knowledge of both lists today and the junior draft prospects available.

In summary he reckons WC are a year behind on the rebuild clock and they should be targeting first round picks to increase their depth of gun kids while North are a year ahead and should be targeting the best kid out there to complement what we already have, if you can find the recording.

As for how he thinks it gets done, he mentioned a three way.

It may well play out that way but if it's us that picks up the phone, we're the ones moving out extra pick/s to get who we want most.

Toes, usually the third party in a three way isn't a lit cigarette.

As such, you have never had a three way so stop boasting about it.

It'd be less Twomey's actual opinion and moreso information he's getting in the industry.

It’s always his draft preview just before the draft that’s his most accurate, he gets fed who wants who just before

The bloke’s (Brady) knackered and standing over the porcelain facility with his frustrating post coitus member.
Well, those deviant art pages about the Chaddy meetups are gonna be disappointed...

I love they way they beat it up like he's been deliberating over it for weeks trying to figure out who goes where.
17 recruiters say the Eagles will take Reid at 1.
17 recruiters say North will take McKercher at 2.
17 recruiters say North will take Duursma at 3
And so on…

This is oddly specific.

I’d say don’t judge a man until you’ve walked a mile in his shoes…. But I don’t think any of us want his shoes to walk in after that…

I checked the membership pages for this category. There was no post coitus membership available there, but oddly enough, it was available on the tender touch site, along with the special offer for a corporate box.

But he got Tom Powell at 13 which wasn't a bad guess.
good write-up as well
"Powell is the highest production player in this year's draft. The Sturt ball-getter averaged 35 disposals, nine clearances and six inside-50s at under-18 level in South Australia to be the competition's premier player. The midfielder does what he does so well: get the ball in his hands at stoppages and then feed it out to runners. Powell is great in tight spaces and is also able to push forward and kick a goal, having kicked three in a game this year."

Powell has shown to be effective for us when forward, definitely think he could spend more time on the flank when he isn't in the middle.
