I think the Eagles have a good following in Australia.

For whatever its worth, the Eagles aren't one of the teams whose gear you can buy at Rebel, Footlocker, or the other US-themed apparel stores. 9ers, Raiders, Pats, Steelers, and Packers are the teams you usually find, with an occasional Dallas and Miami.

I see Raiders logos the most out of any NFL team whenever I'm out in public but I doubt 95% of people wearing have even watched a Raiders game or maybe even an NFL game hehe.

There is an Aussie Eagles Fan page on twitter that appears fairly popular and I have not seen any other NFL team with one.

I think the Eagles would be at least in the top 10 most popular in Australia.

I've always found that weird. I actually thought after we won a SB we might see some more exposure over here but didn't eventuate.

It stands out more here in Australia when we see someone rocking NFL gear (especially we as in us who frequent this NFL board, actually closely follow the game) due to how few people generally walk around in NFL gear compared to any US city....but when it comes to jerseys in particular here, I reckon it's 50:50....I see 50 percent current jerseys and star player names like Mahomes and such, the kind you find in rebel, people just buying something....but I do see a lot of people wearing old school NFL jerseys and player names, even obscure names from the past and/or obscure not popular teams like Titans or Falcons etc. So real fans are out there, even in those small pocket populations of suburbs. Say 10,000 people, you'd maybe see 6 people a day wearing an NFL jersey??

It's like when you own a VW, or whatever, you suddenly start seeing/noticing VWs everywhere when before you didnt.

It would make sense to give them depth without Goedert. But the Ravens have a big hole to fill without Andrews.

Exactly what I was thinking also re: Ravens. Goedert back next week they reckon. Miami would be another nice landing spot with a need at TE.

I had a guy come up to me in a shopping centre 2 weeks ago all excited because of my Eagles tattoo haha. Spent 15 mins talking about our chances this season, how we came to pick the Eagles etc etc.

Must admit, I did enjoy the interaction.

15 mins to discuss the Eagles chances? It would only take 30 seconds, no? "Yeah we gonna win it this year"

Wait, tell me more about this tattoo.

I can't decide whether I want to endorse it out of Eagles fandom, or mock you.

You've never met Negadelphians in the wild.

15 minutes in I'm still describing my criticism of the first half playcalling, and whether or not the reason we improve in the second half is because the scripted gameplan that Siriani is involved in is worse than what Brian Johnson is calling and he's getting away with it.

Ninety percent of being an Eagles fan at any given time is correctly identifying who should be fired.

Imagine the bad times then....hasnt been for decades

Maybe the longer debate became how many in a row they'd win?
Imagine two Browns fans talking together, you'd want to end your life just over hearing it

Not sustained anyway. We've had a few years of being shocking- Andy's last year, Chip's end, the last year with Wentz etc, but have been capable of turning it around quickly. The first two were compounded by still being in the superbowl drought.

Eagles fans aren't taking this for granted, we know this is rare.
