Just wanted to drop in and say I was really pleased for Dow tonight. I (like many) have been confused about the non selection so far. He showed more than enough tonight to suggest he's no worse an option than some automatic selections.

I hope he gets a consistent run now and gets some games pumped into him.

Would love him at the Cats next year.

Pretty hard to win games with 6 goals. Pathetic gameplan that never changes. Dow showed enough to justify that his treatment has been a disgrace. De Koning worked hard against the odds. No idea why we prefer Pittonett. Coach has to go.

For all the talent we have on our list, I have never seen a more undisciplined, indecisive and poorly drilled Carlton side.

Im starting to doubt Voss because we are the lacking the bare minimum skills.

Based off what we’re seeing, he should be.

Even if the skills weren’t terrible (which they clearly are), this game plan doesn’t win games of footy.

We knew we needed to win tonight and we still came out with the same boring brand of crap. Upped the tempo a touch in the second half but it’s just not good enough.

Atrocious tackling, shepherds and smoothers, need someone like Billy Slater on the coaching list. We look like an under 9's team trying to take down 18's. Kemp showed plenty

Walsh and Cripps so far from their best in that game it is ridiculous.

Cerra was solid. Harry played well. Charlie was p!ss poor then had a laugh with the opponents after the game.

O'Brien shouldn't play again. Picking him in front of Binns. I mean really?!

Cincotta was so good on Pickett.

Kemp had some great moments but Fritsch got him a couple of times.

Saad so far off his best.

Gov terrible early but got better.

TDK dropped too many marks including a sitter 10m out in the 2nd quarter. 8 disposals nowhere near enough for a mobile ruckman.

The Doc as a midfielder experiment is not working at all.

Another team in poor form who happens to be sitting 4th at the moment. If Carlton were a stock all the smart money would be wolfing short sells.We have dropped from 3rd to 13th in two months......

Melbourne have had the easiest draw out of the top four teams by far. They are flat track bullies but we gifted them 30ish d50 intercepts.

Wow, they are giving Trak BOG. I think Fritch was the difference between the teams. If he had kicked straight early they would have won by 60. Their winger (oldtimers can't remember his name) who went off concussed beat Walsh, Cotterell and Acres. I thought he was a huge influence.

No disgrace getting well beaten by May but how many times can you remember Charlie actually having a genuine 1v1 with him?

Regardless of how well we used him or not our ball use going i50 (of which we only had 39 of them which suggests the scoreboard absolutely flattered us) is diabolical. Dunstall and Lockett would struggle with the garbage we send i50

I haven't been able to watch the last couple of matches, but this was a really hard watch. I don't think I've been as disappointed by a game since the start of last season. Hopefully this is us bottoming out, but it's really hard to see where the improvement will come from.
