Hello Shinboners!

The embedded resources below are kept up to date by the trade board mods (as much as possible – we are human after all). Enjoy!

He's the first player I heard Jy was mates with, years ago. Grew up together near Shep, meth capital of the known universe.
I reckon Shep has some stiff competition there to be honest. With a town representing each state, Murray Bridge and Nimbin would give it a run for its money

Oliver was only in Mooroopna for a year or two. He's from Echuca.

But you just have to look at his head to see that he's cooked. Either that or he's trying really hard to play the part.

I think that we're in a lucky spot with Viney and Clarko. A couple of years ago and I reckon we'd do something stupid, here.

If we bring him in then we'll have all of the information to make a good decision.

If Oliver is available I would treat the trade period like the following : i believe he is actually what we need ., just need to see how cooked he is .

We have 2/3/14/19/ 2nd / 3rd
Future 1/ 1*/1*/2nd

Trade 2 for Oliver
Keep 3 /19 for kids
14 and f1* for Darcy ( freo sorry but don’t trust Terri
Auction off additional f1* for pick this year
2nd for fisher with third back
3rd for Stephens
Additional 3 for tall Avialable

Let’s get Oliver!!!! Changes everything.
Oliver, LDU, Wardlaw, TT…. Holy s**t. We win all the clearances, and become the most explosive outfit in the comp RIGHT NOW!

5.12am post with a trade half your assets to get the next Johnno Hay, were you also out with Oliver before his exit interview?

In all seriousness though, take best available at 2 and 3, use 14 and 19 to fill issues at key position roles in the ruck and backline. I'm less concerned about ruck with Xerri and CCJ at hand, I realise they aren't top liners but it's not like we don't have anyone.

Use next year's assistance to split and either improve this draft's position and/or use to get established players in Stephens and Fisher across.

Did I just read 4 pages about Clayton Oliver? Seriously? The guy who's two years into a 7 year deal and a top 5 player in the league? Melbourne would be about as serious about trading him as Collingwood were DeGoey. If history has taught us anything, then surely on the off chance that he does leave he would be headed for Geelong.

Actually zero years into the 7 year deal. Contracted through 2030.
Make no mistake, he is available. The dees have screwed this up.

Hard pass on Clayton Oliver. Dude is a massive knob and I have full faith in our existing midfield core.

FWIW from what I can tell most of the rumors of unprofessionalism, beyond how there's always been rumors he parties hard, seem to stem from a bad breakup of a long term relationship.

Surely one of our players has a sister willing to take one for the team? Literally.
Take one from a bulldog-faced ginger with more core strength than a sumo wrestler? Hell of a grenade to jump on.

Clayton Oliver would be our best mid by a country mile. He’s a top 5 player in the comp when up and running.

our midfield is sub par for now and needs addition to,

At the cost of what Oliver will be it’s not worth it, dollars or draft capital. Nothing to do with personality - you end down up the Brad Scott school of choir boys
