Yep, agreed. It’s a wrap, see you draft night 2,3,15,17. & 18Nice job.
What this data shows is that if you have 3 picks in this area of the draft you are a good chance to get one very good player, one good player and one bust.
Given we will attract 2 guns at 2 and 3 we then can pick up another 2 best 22 players if we keep our current draft hand.
This is the best option for us.
I think he's just pointing out that we supporters on here don't really want pick one if its gonna cost more than 3 and 18.Did you miss the part where 2 and two late firsts was already offered and rejected? Get out of fairyland.

Why are you saying it was rejected?
Twomey said today neither deal was actually rejected. WC are waiting to see if they get more.
100% it’s an echo chamber at times. Does my head in to be honestYeah l just unwatched that thread...not worth getting worked up on posters who are so blinded that nothing any NM poster can say would even come close to a fair discussion.
I think it was Mop...an echo chamber - it should be moved into their club page
I mean l just read that they'll get a better compo package if they have one more bad year along the lines of 1,2,21,22....richest club yeah, never asked for hand outs yeah...one can only laugh at fools.

That's not happening mate.
We spent the trade period getting out of picks in the teens, not about to go back there.
I can only base it off what was reported.
Mitch Woodcock, the West
“North Melbourne have reportedly put an offer to West Coast, offering up pick No.2, as well as two of their three picks in the teens for this year (15, 17 and 18) for picks No.1 and 23 — a trade deemed not enough”
Irrespective, it still proves my point that 3 and 18 isn’t even close. I think you lads know that too.
I think there's probably a level of cognitive bias after winning the last game. I'm also not a draft watcher but if there wasn't much of a gap then I can't see why we'd make meaningful attempts to get pick 1, given our current hand.
If we add our future 1st into the mix we may as well offer them 2 and 3 into this year's mix because the odds are against us getting out of the bottom three next year. That type of offer should be a sackable offence for Brady and whoever else is involved in making a decision like that. We'd be giving up practically everything to get perhaps the 2nd best player in the draft after Walter.Your point is proven “at this stage”.
All clubs are playing hard ball because they have time and want their members to think/ know they are trying to get the most for their club.
North tends to work in good faith( much to our frustration at times) so if a deal is done , there will be a win/ win exchange of picks.
My personal feeling is that we will add our future first into the mix to get a deal done as I believe WC want a trade badly and North want Reid badly so it will happen.
How about you do the analysis for picks 20, 22 and 23!2012

Has the AFL come to us and said here is your draft concessions now you have to use most of them to get Ried. Gotta love a good conspiracy theory. He is obviously the stand out best talent at this point, nobody is downplaying anything. The issue isn't is he good enough to target, the issue is what it would cost to get him. It cost GWS pick 12 to move from 3 to 1 last year, it is magnitudes more expensive this year.
The question is can you justify spending whatever it is they want to get pick 1 when you have just delisted 13 players after the fourth year in a row being uncompetitive with more potatoes for next year and we have had to get a swag of charity to make the team remotely competitive. Is spending that justifiable and that is the question that is plaguing the negative Nancies.
I get we all want to build a premiership team but we have major deficiencies on every line. Is it justifiable to spend a big chunk of what we have to upgrade from whomever to Reid? Perhaps it is, but to suggest nobody should have some doubts is Kool-Aid level of optimism.
Melbourne have offered their whole draft hand and the best part of next year's, Hawthorn two pointy end firsts and we're into him hard. And these are just the bids we know of.I think there's probably a level of cognitive bias after winning the last game. I'm also not a draft watcher but if there wasn't much of a gap then I can't see why we'd make meaningful attempts to get pick 1, given our current hand.
I don’t read that and say conclusively that anything was rejected. WC would be stupid to do a deal yet.I can only base it off what was reported.

You spelled incel wrong. The "super admin" is a West Coast Bay 13 nuff who posts "It's a troll but I'll allow" it in main board threads when one of their little dork mates makes a typical hur hur Tassie Roos post, what can you expect.
Is why I chose just to stay here, we big beasts terrify the townsfolk, best we stay in our dark corner of the forest

It's bad enough that our Club is going to do something dumb with our draft haul to get Reid but when one of our bravest warriors comes back from the main board cowered and defeated like you War Chief that's surely the last straw.
