Bring Flanders home.

One of the biggest BFNAAK in recent drafts
You’d think it would be that if we want him we get him. Because realistically he has as good a chance to come in to our midfield than he does pretty much any other Victorian midfield.

He’s been one of the best in the VFL this season and looks ready to break out at AFL level.

I’d be offering our F2.

Rumors were he was our preferred pick in 2019 when we traded out of the draft to Melbourne (took Powell the year later) we traded the pick as we didn’t think he would get to our pick, which he ended up lasting to on draft night….

Yeah depending on how he goes the rest of the season. No reason not to start an offer at a F3 or our 3rd rounder this year.

For me, if McKay stays then go after Himmelberg. If McKay goes then I would prefer the compo to get Caddy or Watson. And be on the phone with GC or GWS about moving the Port pick up to get O'Sullivan or Curtin.
We should be going after Himmelberg either way.......

Hahaha, Geelong.....;)...must be the beaches....

That would cost us pick 3. Adding Himmelberg would cancel out McKay compo.
Pie in the sky stuff, but... Would you take on Josh Kelly's $1m per year contract until he's 34 in 2029, if we got HH instead of a high end pick from GWS?

So

OUT: mckay
IN: pick 3, kelly, himmelberg

I don’t think GWS are interested in losing Kelly, personally. They paid him not once but twice in light of our interest.

Not sure they have major cap issues with their outgoings the last two years.
