They got JHF.
Maybe they’ll find out what it’s like when the shoe‘s on the other foot.
Butters is contracted for 2 more years and they would hold him to the contract - no chance of getting him.
I really feel Flanders will be the guy we go after and Henry - both are not contracted and very gettable.
You spelt Isaac Heeney wrongBecause we're getting Zak Butters now
I'd prefer Tom Jonas if we're speaking with Port tbhEvening Saints fans, pardon the intrusion.
Is there any truth to the rumours that St Kilda are targeting Zac Butters? I’m hearing six years at what would work out to be a bit over a million a year, with the increase in salary cap coming soon. Come home to Victoria factor is in play also.

Port might prefer that too.I'd prefer Tom Jonas if we're speaking with Port tbh
Yeh but we got HillBoston Everitt has been named in the Queensland under 17 side to play on Grand Final day. I see that he hasnt grown much listed as 185cms so I doubt he ends up anywhere near his dads height. I guess that doesnt matter if he can play?
You have to wonder why we didnt go after George Hewett as a free agent 2 years ago? Perhaps we did but I didnt read our club showing interest in him. Carlton had ridiculous midfield depth a bulging cap, yet still brought him in which has proven to be a very good move. Plus look at how Acres is playing like a 800k wingman and Carlton got him for chips. Just more examples of our clubs disatrous midfield list management.

No one said to trade kingAre we still trading King?
Being a member for 5 mins and jumping in oppo threads about trades it comes across that wayCertainly not trolling mate. Sorry if it came across that way.
Saints signed some Irish players apparently
Yep.Flanders expected to stay.
That hurts. Doesn’t leave a lot for us unfortunately, especially with the draft looking thin on midfielders.Flanders expected to stay.
Wonder if Joyce will be on a list next year.We get them over for a holiday but don't know how to use them.
Yep.
Tom Morris expects him too. Says if Dew remained he would have left.
Interestingly links Clark to GWS.
And just reiterates Billings and Membrey are gettable
Peris? Our small forwards play their roll, however an injection of speed, maybe Liam Henry would be a positive. An example is Bobby Hill who has injected speed and he uses it to create and opportunities for the Magpies.

Pretty accurate Morris.Tom Morris’ mega trade, contract and free agency update on 25 AFL players
The latest on a number of players.www.sen.com.au
Tom Morris is not the most accurate reporter out there, so lets hope we have been into Flanders for sometime and he can be convinced to leave. Them having Damian Hardwick coming in will make it even harder, but surely we can pay him a fair bit more than GCS can offer. We simply need to get an A grade midfielder in (potential or otherwise), if we want to become a top 4 side.
The Clark one is interesting as he mentioned GWS may be interested as they were looking for more run out of defence. I hardly think Hunter would be recruited to provide more run, but perhaps clubs think they can get more out of him. If he was to go up there I wonder if we could use Hunter to extract a player out of GWS, or we just go to the draft.

In the interview with Mason Wood after the game, it sounds like Gresham is out the door chasing a bigger contract.
I'll put my head in the noose & say both Flanders & Henry will be with us next year time will tell.Flanders expected to stay.
Pretty accurate Morris.
Breaks a lot of news. Especially this year
Do GWS interest in Clark imply they dont want to simply give away a 1st in a Salary dump ie Bowes to Gee last year so says give us Clark and we give you Haynes and a first to absorb that contract?Tom Morris’ mega trade, contract and free agency update on 25 AFL players
