Robbie Young was taken in the main draft which means he would have been on a 2 year deal.

It was a very rare occasion where you see a contract cut short. Must have been a bit in it

We only need to make a minimum 3 changes I believe. And we never know if a player will ask for a trade or enter FA.

Connolly, Highmore and Allison (yes, even though contracted) look the most unrequired.

I could see Jones and DMac being delisted and re-rookied too given their injury dramas.

I don’t see us pissing off the AFLPA with Allison. 100% gone in 2024 though unless he shows HEAPS.

As such we'd expect him to be more game ready than an 18 year old.
He surely has some decent abilities, but at 25 he doesn't seem to be someone who will get to an especially high level.

I think he's really unlucky to have landed at the Saints. Wilkie and him are too similar and he was a strange choice for that reason. He'd be a better player than guys like Hind and Darragh Joyce but just can't get a spot open up. If a side wanted an interceptor he'd be a fantastic choice for rehoming.

Until he can improve his kicking, he will always struggle to get a game.

If we could combine Connolly's skills with Highmore's intercepting and ability to rack up disposals, we'd have a pretty good player (Hopefully called Nick Coffield if he can stay injury free).

Coffeild is a massive key to our progression. If he can get back to his best at hbf then we can release Sinclair into the guts more.

We would be singing his praises if either Wilkie or Battle went down with injury. He is depth for sure and should be asking for a trade as he is capabale of playing AFL level.

I'd predict him to get a one year extension at the moment.

Been an ok start without setting the world on fire and he was always going to take a bit of time

Still hearing Ben King to saints rumours too.

He is struggling in GC after the knee reco, he is struggling and the team is not going well.

He is contracted until end 2024. If he wants out will cost us plenty.
