Probably Richmond trying to convince we need to pay more for Bolton tbh.

Think they want all three first rounders. They were probably prepared to throw in some pretty good picks back (i.e. first two picks in the second round) but they'd still get the three first rounders.

I think the only way they can do it is by splitting 3.

Yes. Same contract structure as well (end of 2027 to become RFA). I reckon Rivers is set up perfectly for a return to start the 2028 season with Freo. We could still be in the window then, but needing a replacement for Ryan. Get the band back together with Jackson-Sharp-Warner.
