Was Andrews’ best year. Led the comp in intercept marks, beat his opponent every week, for the team that had the second lowest points against total over 23 games.

Had 2 quieter games coming back from concussion at the end of the year is the only reason why he might have dropped out?

All due respect to weitering and McGovern who are very good players - can’t see how they had a better year.

There needs to be a QLD selector. That televised AA selectors meeting half way through the year where they had Andrews as only a "watch" when he was clearly the best (or at worst second best behind Taylor) key defender in the comp was a shocking miss.

Teams literally plan to play around Andrews these days. To have the stats he does and not get selected at least once over the last two years is pretty rough (last year was a worse miss imo).
