I am thinking I want Petracca in my side. Anyone have any strong feelings for or against? I think after a rest he could feast on the tigers.

Not top 1% but my 2 cents. There's 3 possible options with Stew. Hold, up or down. Hold is the obvious given it's a week. That said with the lack of rookies I am thinking about going down to a mid pricer to facilitate some cash in a safer way than a fringe rookie.

Say Stew > Dale frees up 100K, Dale with the 175 washing through and Hawks / Tigers in the next 3 weeks prob makes 100K while Stew misses at least 1 week and has his 60 washing through for 2 more. Dale not part of the end game but maybe a safer may to free up coin than a fringe rookie

If you’re taking the risk downgrading, take Mac Andrew instead of Dale IMO.

Cadman > Nyuon (may change to a different rookie depending on teams)
Uwland > Woewodin
Zilliams > Dawson


The Woewodin pick could end up being a total disaster, but I needed a rookie who was either a midfielder/defender and pretty much all the viable options this week are pure forwards.

With FA fwd options, Macrae seems a "less likely of a bust" selection. But, Bevo.......

Reckon you'll find he will stay in and Harvey Thomas will get a rest. If it wasn't for injury, he would have played R1. Very highly rated.

Oh OOH, my masterful grouping strategy has gone from Intriguing(will it work ?), to ludicrous, to I've ****ed up already.

Had a 6.30pm brainwave, oh I have Cripps now, I should VC him, so I took it of Gawn and benched him incase he spudded up and I could swing Jacko into the ruck -just in case.

Then at 9.30pm tonight I realised I could Dump Carroll instead of Hollands and if I have him probably should play him over Graham/Sanders, going to E Harcia I think-that may change, hmmm, anyway it leave me with this- a lunacy too far ?

Hmmm, Howes has scored well, taking his 80+ and putting Roberts back in the Mids, so I only need 1 of Sanders, Garcia, Wilson or Hollands, (Reid loop)

Uwland and Sanders to Rowell and Tunstill (looped) this week
Have another look at Naismith & Garcia and pending teams next week, Zilliams/Mass/Windsor for them + Bont

Hadn’t considered him at all but Rowell has currently found his way into my side. It’s out of Walsh, Serong and Rowell (195k, 165k, 130k bank depending who I take)

Love gold coasts fixture and outside of Flanders I don’t have anyone that’ll take advantage of it. I don’t trust Walsh at all but 14/18 teams in my cash league now have him

I think Naismith is still a decent trade in next week if he is picked again. Seemed to spend a lot of time forward so should get DPP. Lynch is still a while a away, and the only other options Kosi(absolute spud) and Ryan ( physically weak as water) are not really dangers.

I really want to get Andrew in this week but the only thing stopping me is I am kinda asking for trouble when I already have Touk Flanders Clohesy and Graham. It feels like too many from the same team but he's great value so I want to pick him especially with so many trades this year.

There's also the problem of him breaking one of the oldest rules in SC.

" Never buy guys with names you cannot pronounce OR with 2 christian names "

If you need proof check out that cricketer Tim David. Looks like Tarzan but does he ever actually do anything ?

These old rules have served us well for centuries.
The only exception i can recall being Dustin Martin. Even then, he wasnt exactly the greatest SC scorer.
