Hardwick tonight solidified why he’s still my absolute favourite current Hawk. He had such a bloody good game - and he’ll rightly get overlooked by some absolutely brilliant performances/moments - but when the game was in the balance he was just dominating down back and providing some insanely good rebounding. 95% DE in a final too - dead set gun.

Lewis is spot on about Bevo. He's the reason they lose a lot of their games, he's always got a trick or two, he always spins the magnets. Bontempelli had one of his worst games of the season because he was inexplicably at CHF when we were gutting them in the third. We deserved to win this game, but that it got so far out of their hands is completely on Bevo.

In fairness to Bevo. Bont was getting Nashed and only had 6 touches at half time and their 3 key forwards with 10 million dollar contracts hadn't taken a single mark inside 50.

So they needed to break the tag and try and get a winner forward. It burnt them because then we smashed them in the middle.
