Love the passion but I have to go with Nairn, could be anythingGreeves will be our best player from this draft. Bank it.

Philosophical point...Look I'm not suggesting this for a moment but if brain transplants ever become a thing the club could keep drafting young forwards and do a little bit of experimental brain surgery
Philosophical point...
Wouldn't a brain transplant more technically be a "whole body transplant"?

I checked the whole list of AFL players selected and the only one missed out which was from central that went to another team was Sharpe, swap sharpe and dalton and we are done, we would have taken whole central team. I can understand why people are cross with bombers for taking our man.I've got nothing against the club, if things turned different I'd probably be supporting them being that I grew up not far from there. But if you knew the Central Districts area the crackhead reference is actually quite fitting although I'd probably change it to meth head.![]()
Is the best name since Wylie Buzzahas to be drafted by Sydney to really make this work
3 seperate 2nd round death ride threads next year or just roll them up into one?
Just bored individuals making some rubbish up. Nothing is wrong with his character. As for the feet, almost every footballer has cooked feetTo those who are saying cooked feet, knock on character etc, I'm super curious about where that talk has come from?
I haven't heard anything about his feet, given he ran the two k a few weeks back and had a solid time for someone who has been sick/unfit, I was surprised to read that.
The only thing I heard about his character was that when he trained with us early in the year a lot of our boys got around him quite a lot?
A lot of intrigue about this pick, I'm not sure he'll be everything he can be, but I feel like he's going to give it a solid crack!

One will do, we don't have much negative history with either club yet.3 seperate 2nd round death ride threads next year or just roll them up into one?
Im going to assume that Shubert is the furthest away from a debut and contributing to the list in any meaningful way. Anyone care to guess who will be the first to be named and do something exciting? Any chance any of them to debut in 2026?
1.
2.
3.
4.
5. Shubert
Come on man… what about Jack Ough from GWSIs the best name since Wylie Buzza

GWS and Saints.
Not sure if either are relevant enough to have one thread combined let alone two separate.
I am with you NG, he looks like a Jezza Cameron clone.Love the passion but I have to go with Nairn, could be anything
Leray looks like he needs at least 2 years in the gym before we see a debut. The most likely order of debut in my opinion:
1. LeRay
2. Nairn
3. Greeves
4. Dalton
5. Shubert
I reckon LeRay and Nairn are the ones to play outside running roles if we have injuries, and with CJ out there's already a best 22 spot to fill
In don’t care what you call it as long as we get an immortal Jack Gunston I’m down with itPhilosophical point...

Funny you say that as I thought Leary looked the most physically ready out of all of them.Leray looks like he needs at least 2 years in the gym before we see a debut.
You are right they really need to lift.RE: Greeves - people were melting we didn't use pick 23, people were melting when we traded up and didn't pick him, people were melting we didn't use our last live pick.
We got 4 highly rated young players, 2 extra second round picks for next year in a strong draft....and Greeves
You'd have to say this was the best D+ effort we've had for some time

Think both are true. He doesn’t have anything close to an AFL body yet. Not criticising the kid either, he’s a late pick and will need time, just can’t imagine he’s anywhere near an AFL debut next year in a strong team. I’d almost have all 4 of our other draft picks ahead of him on that front.Funny you say that as I thought Leary looked the most physically ready out of all of them.
He’s got a pretty solid core to my eye.
You might mean he needs to build his tank up of course which is fair.
Is it possible MM prioritised scoping SA talent given Adelaide and Port had poor draft hands? Very clever if so.
