Heart’s not in it after being eliminated by Hawthorn, but going for non Victorian sides to win!

Im behind the Crows because they play attractive footy and Matty Nicks was my favourite player.

But I think the cats win this year now that their bogey side is out.

It would be frustrating to see the Suns win on their first attempt, after all our efforts. Otherwise I wish them well.

I actually hope Gold Coast win, or Adelaide,
but barring injuries to key players it will probably be Geelong or Collingwood.

Both, especially Cumming, are getting a bit of stick on the Crows board.

I just don't see that either player moves the needle particularly (for either us or the Crows) to get the team over the line.

Essentially, Ash replaced Cumming for us. For all the shit that gets thrown at Ash from us on here, Ash averaged 28 possessions versus 14.6, 6 marks to 4 (which was Cumming's strength), tackles, inside 50s & contested possessions were equal, rebound 50s were 6.3 to 1.8, and effective disposals were 80% to 70%. Now, stats don't tell the whole picture, but between those stats and the eye, I think Ash comfortably improved Giants over Cumming. Cumming might have improved Adelaide over whoever did that role for them previously.

O'Halloran is probably the most comparable to Peatling, not that I think it's a like for like style replacement. Peatling is slightly better on some stats, but not appreciably for the extra $$$ that Crows threw at him.

Just my thoughts.

Agree with that, but Cumming was playing on a wing for us last year and is a better player than Angwin.

Undoubtedly the biggest loss for us was Perryman, who is an excellent mid-sized defender.
