Surprise, surprise that the AFL love child in Carlton get West Coast and North twice.

Would be interested to know how often we’ve doubled up against bottom three sides in recent history. Can’t imagine it’s often.

Yep noticed that. Of course that was going to happen. There's 20 goals in there for Curnow.

So we play Brisbane, Hawthorn, Carlton, Fremantle, Melbourne and Adelaide twice.

So our easy double up is the team that finished 15th and was 14 points clear of 16th

That is exactly what I expected from the crooks that are the AFL.

We’re the only middle six side to not get any of the bottom three twice.

So Carlton in 2024 make the finals because of their easy double up, so the AFL says well that worked, let's do it again.

They (AFL) couldn't even hide the fact they are helping them?
No grand finalist twice and 2 of 3 bad bottom 3 teams.

AFL 2025 FIXTURE DIFFICULTY (from easiest to hardest)

Based on the 2024 percentage of the teams they play twice in 2025

1 (Easiest). Richmond

2. Melbourne

3. Carlton (WTF, they made finals!)

4. Adelaide Crows

5. Gold Coast Suns

6. West Coast Eagles

7. Western Bulldogs

8. Geelong

9. Sydney Swans

10. St Kilda

11. North Melbourne

12. GWS Giants

13. Fremantle

14. Essendon

15. Hawthorn

16. Collingwood (We didn't make finals but get a hard draw?)

17. Port Adelaide

18 (Hardest). Brisbane Lions

I swear there must be side hustles going on - year after year Geelong get looked after.

Finish middle of the ladder

Play Premiers twice

Play Blues, Freo and Hawks who are expected be big improvers.

Adelaide and Melbourne twice.

This comp is so ****ing corrupt makes me sick.

Fixture fairness made me expect to get the the Bulldogs, Carlton, Fremantle and Essendon twice. We were never going to get any of WCE, North or Richmond twice. Which beggars belief, how the **** did Carlton get two of them twice?

Unfortunately for us Adelaide underperformed and should improve in 2025. That and they're always a close game with us.

I also don't think the AFL should move too quickly with hard and easy draws. If you have one bad year you shouldn't get the easiest fixture necessarily. We don't want to encourage tanking any more than getting a good pick.

Essendon only once? that's new, I can't think of another time when we only played them once besides 2020.

Would it shock you if I said the only other time in recent memory we haven't doubled up against them was 2016, the year they had their entire team suspended and were the competition easybeats?

Fixture fairness lol

These guys/girls up the top are all about lining their pockets as quickly as they can. They put out some mumbo jumbo disclaimer to appease the lemmings.
