I think Goodwin had more to do with it than Lamb though. You just have to look at his selections each week, always played his bumchums and nearly all those guys have been given dumb contracts.

Tim Lamb is our list manager. Our list is s*. Sure, we can blame Goody for some of the problems at the club. but I wouldhave thought the list manager would be the one to take the fall for our list being in such poor shape.

Im not arguing that he isnt shit and we should piss him off, just saying I blame Goodwin more. He was the one who wanted to keep players around when we tried to move them and reshape the list.

Just find this lack of using context pretty shallow tbh.

This list is not that much different to the one that won a flag. Were you saying the list was shit then? Got receipts if so?

Not Lamb's fault:
Gus career ending concussion.
Clarry going off the rails.
Trac injury.
Lack of development by the coaches (Choco now gone).
Lack of innovation of game style (Goodwin now gone).
Lack of opportunity seeing us both lose players and not bring on players (Goodwin now gone again).
Club being a mess all the time (Roffey now gone).
Club not having a decent training setup to help attract talent (Pert now gone).

All those, and plenty more, have contributed to our performance, our ability to attract talent, and our currency and finances in trying to bring in high quality trades.

Again, outside of Lever & Hibberd, Lamb was in charge for the moves that built a list that won a flag despite having a pretty ordinary coach.

its more not even being linked to talent which is purely on him
What? Not being linked to talent (we've been linked to countless good players btw) has nothing to do with us not having a half decent home base, not having a half decent coach (or any coach atm), having a boring game style, having a tiny supporter base, having big time cultural issues, having a temporary CEO and President, etc etc... It's all Lamb's fault? Thread is jumping the shark now.

You can only grade Lamb on what he has done and over last 4 years that includes

Dunstan, Hunter, Billings, Mcadam, Grundy, Schache, Fullerton, Sharp, 3 picks for Tholstrup, Campbell ect

Suprised people are trying to stick up for his trash record of late. He hasn’t traded in one best 22 player in 4 years. He has had to work

He had Jackson cash that went to Grundy that went to no-one. So it’s not an excuse. Also if Brisbane can afford Oscar Allen and we can’t even afford a decent small forward than it’s an even bigger indictment on his ability to manage a list.

No doubt Goody played a part. Its most likely a group of them making decisions. I doubt Goody said go get me Schache or Fullerton though lol. Will be interesting to see what impact Buckley has on attracting players if he gets the job.

Why? When he has been in charge since the start of 2018.

Usual tactics by you lot.
He's a dud mate. Deserves to go just as much as Goody, Richo and the rest of them. List management has been terrible since the flag..arguably cost us another flag the lack of ability to top up with anything decent. Not 1 player. IMO, Goody and Lamb both needed to be let go.

I don't agree. Footy boards always get sucked into the 'dud or gun' mentality, when 99% of the time the truth is somewhere in between.

lol @ this thread forever looping back into a Lambs a spud conversation. Wasn’t even me this time, I was actually trying to talk strategy.
Maybe because our list is currently a bottom 3 or 4 list. List manager surely is held accountable for that. Or hey, let's be like Essendon who held onto Dodo for far too long. Coaching has been terrible. Goody's now gone. List is in terrible shape on a number of levels. I'd be expecting Lamb to be on the chopping block. He can go back to the police force as far as I'm concerned lol

Disappointed by our lack of delistings so far. I know they may want to wait for a coach but ****, what coach would want blokes like Billings, Fullerton or Brown.

If those guys don't get offered contracts they will just be delisted by default. You're just going to have to wait.

We would be better off going after Liam Reidy than we are Max Heath.
Disagree (and not just for the sake of it, haha). Reidy is dreadful
