There's only one slot in that stretch which could've been different. It's not that badFrom May 24th to July 4th we play just one game in Melbourne.
From May 24th to July 4th we play just one game in Melbourne.
Last year it was a 7 or 8 week gap between home games mid year. Can't wait to get 2 more home games back in Melbourne!...From May 24th to July 4th we play just one game in Melbourne.
Would have thought that it was pretty much predictableBased on this fixture, I have us finishing 17th or 18th again.
How we get the 8th hardest draw is mind boggling.
From May 24th to July 4th we play just one game in Melbourne.
Bit like most of us outside of Melbourne
But meh that don’t count anymore
Yes 2 more home games in 2026 and I expect the membership to go up in price by at $50 to $100 across all membership categories to cover the loss of $$$ from no Tasmanian games. That game is against Carlton at the G though, not exactly a late Sunday dead rubber at Marvel. Should be good. Two more Melbourne games will be coming home in 2026 so it is what it is for now.
The other one on here is SpiderBurton22 down South West
Next year with Tassie off the cards it will be hard to avoid scheduling Port in Melbourne. I would hope that they are welcomed onto the ground with loudest booing on record and then we leave it at that.So we get to play port in Adelaide, "wow" what a surprise, not at Marvel, I guess the majority of us knew we wouldn't be playing them in Melbourne for a while and I wonder why that is?![]()
For that to happen we need the AFL to schedule a Home game against Power 1st and then North supporters to attend the game.Next year with Tassie off the cards it will be hard to avoid scheduling Port in Melbourne. There is however, no loss of dollars.Yes 2 more home games in 2026 and I expect the membership to go up in price by at $50 to $100 across all membership categories to cover the loss of $$$ from no Tasmanian games.

There’s no point getting 16k to the game they need almost double that amount because Power supporters will come over for that game to support him.
The irony is that it was other clubs supporters that gave it to him the most because they got home games against him.It will never happen
He will never ever play a Home game in Melbourne
This would be bad optics to have a player booed, could be argued by JHF as Workplace OHS and the AFL is aware of all things legal these days
Dees away as well in WA for pre season. I think the praccie should be at Marvel or MCG personally to give home fans an accessible pre season game and match practice at a real venue.surely the match sim vs dees will be at arden street and not casey fields
Don’t be silly, of course he’ll play us at Marvel. And the longer they hold it off the louder we will be.It will never happen

Hope it’s in a packed Telstra Dome for an elimination final whereby he gives away a petulant 50m in the final minute with Sheezel converting the set shot to win by a point.Don’t be silly, of course he’ll play us at Marvel. And the longer they hold it off the louder we will be.
I agree with all of this, except by a point and 15 goals.Hope it’s in a packed Telstra Dome for an elimination final whereby he gives away a petulant 50m in the final minute with Sheezel converting the set shot to win by a point.

Centenary game announced as blockbuster Thursday night fixture North Melbourne will celebrate the club’s Centenary with a blockbuster Thursday night fixture against the Western Bulldogs in Round 17. The Centenary-themed home fixture, originally pencilled in to be played in Round 20, will now be celebrated on a Thursday night at Marvel Stadium in Round 17. “We were presented with a fantastic opportunity for our Centenary match to be fixtured standalone on a Thursday night,” North Melbourne CEO Jen Watt said. “We couldn’t be more excited to partner with Channel 7 to bring this significant moment in our club history to life and tell 100 years of club stories to as big an audience as possible. “The prospect of this match being available via a dual television broadcast on both Channel 7 and Fox Footy was an opportunity that made a lot of sense for our club. “Delivering a fixture is a complicated process and we acknowledge and thank the AFL for supporting this significant occasion for us.” The full fixture for Rounds 16-23 will be announced at 3pm today. |
