I predicted a Sydney slide but not one this big. GWS it might become a similar story.
I don't consider Adelaide/Bulldogs/GC as huge misses because I had them right there just outside the finals spots - 6th through 12th could have gone either way.
Not bad mate. Carlton your only shocker and my Collingwood bias gives you a digital reacharound for your faith in usLike everyone I'm tracking to have a couple of shockers. Carlton top 4 being the main one.

I tried to warn you...Like everyone I'm tracking to have a couple of shockers. Carlton top 4 being the main one.
Here's mine, from early October. My early thoughts, though will update after the trade period, National Draft and fixture release.
1. Brisbane
2. Collingwood
3. GWS
4. Sydney
5. Hawthorn
6. Geelong
7. Fremantle
8. Gold Coast
9. Port Adelaide
10. Western Bulldogs
11. Adelaide
12. St Kilda
13. Essendon
14. Carlton (will reassess if they get double up games against 3 of the bottom 4)
15. North Melbourne
16. Melbourne
17. West Coast Eagles
18. Richmond (only because I can't put them any lower)
Yeah, if I just swapped Carlton and Adelaide I'd be happy enough with it. Maybe properly committing to a Sydney fall from grace too. That's a good attempt.
But I just don't understand what you saw in Carlton, particularly how they finished the season. Don't tell me you got in enamored by the Brownlow medals? I had them 4th last behind North. I thought North would finally make some improvements this year, but for the fourth time and out of five seasons, I was wrong. Still half a season too go, so there's still time.
Yep that's a strong effort. Here's mine, from early October.
Overrated Sydney and possibly GWS (though still expect them to get on a run), and underrated Adelaide.
Apart from that, bang on.
Carlton man1. Brisbane
2. Collingwood
3. Hawthorn
4. Geelong
5. Greater Western Sydney
6. Carlton
7. Gold Coast
8. Footscray
16 to 17 wins appear to be the numbers AV: to get top 4. Collingwood, Geelong look almost certainties for 1 and 2 with Brisbane, Adelaide and to a lesser degree Western Bulldogs fighting out 3 and 4. Hawthorn has extremely tough run home as 3 out of their last 4 games are Adelaide at AO, Collingwood at 'G' and Brisbane at Gabba, still a shot but they'll need to be firing on all cylinders. Can see 16-17 wins being needed to get top 4.
Looks like it'll be very tight and we could have a very dangerous 5th-6th sides in finals.

There are only 9 teams capable of playing finals imoBottom 6 teams won't go any higher, no chance for finals
Sides 7-12 are fighting for bottom two finals spots
Yep. Not only are Carlton, Sydney, Port and Essendon two games out of the top eight/nine, they're also way behind on percentage. Carlton might be able to threaten the percentage of Fremantle, Hawthorn or GWS, but they're three games behind them. And, none of the teams in the bottom 9 have a formline even remotely suggesting that they're making up a bunch of games on the leaders. There are only 9 teams capable of playing finals imo
Question is which one of the top 9 teams misses.
I think Bulldogs go on a run. Gold Coast might hold on but wait till next year. There are only 9 teams capable of playing finals imo
Question is which one of the top 9 teams misses.
