Could happen. Guess we'll have to see. Windy won't go the main question mark is Nas.
They should have offered him oversno doubt, now they'd look like geniuses.. isn't that on the coaches as much as SOS though? Or is it SOS's job to predict the players development?I 100% think would have got him to sign last year.
1.4m ain't gonna get it done now.
Go on..After all the shit the port fans have thrown around. I’ll grab the popcorn if the rumours around one of their own are true.

He's working it out with the club I have no doubt. Why wouldn't Windy go? If he gets offered more he probably walks.
Purely list management function. He gets input from the coach but he's doing the contractsThey should have offered him oversno doubt, now they'd look like geniuses.. isn't that on the coaches as much as SOS though? Or is it SOS's job to predict the players development?
I don’t get how we are a bottom 4 team and per the SEN article we have seemingly already come close to maxing the cap? I get Nas is going to get more than we expected earlier but he was still probably going to get 900+ from us so it’s a bit weird.
owen78 what are the chances of Windy actually staying with us? From your post a week or so ago, seems like it’s pretty likely he’s gone? I’d heard earlier in the year that the bombers and hawks were both sniffing around. I assume they are the clubs that have made him better offers than us.
You’re scaring me Bill …Imagine a world where we keep NAS. King, Pou and Howard are fit next year. TDK comes also. Key kids improve as they should.
We overhaul the strength and conditioning program.
If that all happens, are we really any worse than the likes of Cats, Hawks, Pies?
I don't think there is any reason why we can't match it with the best sides in the comp next year if we get a bit of luck.
The guy that’s responsible for player development coincidentally also oversees the list manager. I’m all for defending Ross (when it’s overblown and unfounded) but he has line of sight of SOS.They should have offered him oversno doubt, now they'd look like geniuses.. isn't that on the coaches as much as SOS though? I'm not defending Ross. If we're going to say they should have foreseen Nasiahs development I think it's more on Ross than SOS.The guy that’s responsible for player development coincidentally also oversees the list manager. It’s on both of them mate, that’s the point. Organisationally, they’re both responsible.I'm not defending Ross. If we're going to say they should have foreseen Nasiahs development I think it's more on Ross than SOS.
Ok. I guess we'll see what happens. I'd be stunned if Windy leaves.Low-balled an offer and not in our future planning. SOS playing tough showing himself to be hostile and inflexible. He must be feeling massively loyal. If I was him I'd head to the first club that sold me a future.
If the future planning without him is true, why are we offering a 2 year deal? Are we low balling to get him out the door? Or is it all BS?Low-balled an offer and not in our future planning. Agreed, but there's still hope. If Windy and Nas leave then SOS should go.Definitely. Doesn't matter, last year Ross wanted to keep Battle too late after SOS did the strong arming early. Between them they are sending the list further back every year. He needs to start to get these deals done or **** off back to the Blues.

Where there is smoke, there’s definitely fire. With that said, how do we possibly keep Nas if the Windy disrespect is true? Crazy times ahead for the club.Hope so but where there is smoke and all that.
