Windy is continuing to improve as a player. He understands our systems and structures and is able to both be in a position to receive the ball, or go and get it himself to give it out. He's increasingly important to our fortunes and often sacrifices his attacking game by taking a defensive position as insurance if we lose possession. That shows he thinks about how the play is unfolding and puts the team first.

He is versatile and his kicking is nowhere near as poor as myths would have it. He's about to blossom. Nex year he'll be heading towards A grade status. He shows leadership. Evidence: last centre clearance against the Demons!

Really don't want to lose him.

Can't make this stuff up.

People crying we are overpaying on potential then when a tagger wants 850k a year it the Saints fault.
The mental gymnastics required for some people to fit this into their narrative is very very entertaining 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The confirmation bias is insane. Pre-conceived notion that SOS is a bad list manager. Negotiations stall with a role player and automatically its SOS' fault even though the context isn't clear whatsoever

850k for Windy is OVERS and I'm glad SOS is doing whats best for our list

Its atleast in print.

What claim do you have to this mystical 850k rumour? Anything at all?

Like on the scale of believability. Your claim here is on par with the duck claiming it was just crushed panadol.
So from your point of view, because it’s in print - it’s true?

Because I distinctly recall a Ross interview where he said that the fluff article that claimed a war chest of a salary cap we have built and what we wanted to do with it was slop etc.

Why do you get so upset just because random people don’t blindly agree with the constant garbage you post

I’m hardly upset 😂

But don’t act like you clowns are believing pure gospel that the clubs short changing everyone because of a baseless piece.

Remember, Aleer was 900k a year. 😉

No offence

But I'll take an SEN report over a post on here with absolutely no substance to it.

It literally started with "there's a rumour"

Atleast the report on SEN was published and printed by an actual journalist.
journalists have as much credibility as an an email from a Nigerian prince.

But hey you keep filling up your cup of gullibility until your heart’s content.

Well said.

Where did the 850K figure come from?

Mate you've deliberately avoided answering any of the questions ive posed to you.

If thats the level of integrity for a bloke who's employed by the AFL then I'd love to hear your assessment of old mate on here citing a "rumour" he heard.

I just love how cal twomey also employed by the AFL is trusted but thus guy us considered to be full of it. Again more inconsistencies

You need to tweet the rumoured 850k then he will believe because it will be 'in print' 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

In print was Winderlich not in our best 22 moving forward, quality journalism, very believable.

Not everything needs to come from known reporters.

I heard NAS is waiting on Port to confirm the trade deal which is linked to getting the Gold Cost F1 25 pick back/ F1 26 / Soldo, he will announce leaving after B&F.
Shut up. Saints say no to that everyday of the week and you need approval from the afl to trade your futures. Think that would of leaked out by now

So you want to overpay Windhager on potential.
Heard this tune before.

No I want to pay what it cost to keep him happy and sell him our vision where he hopefully signs on for less than offered to move. You want to pay $2.4 million to a couple on potential you might as well keep your own potential. We can't afford to tread water for ever.

Oh Bub.

The article with no figures or facts. Just word from Windys camp saying we are low balling him is believable.

Irrelevant whether you believe me or not. You and saint katrina believe a nothing article 😂
Look, to be fair Scott Lucas does have form too, for example the whole Parish saga dragged on for the whole home and away season.

Nevertheless, I’d be offering a 700k 2-4 year deal to Windy with incentives added on which would be around the mark of the Aleer deal.
