If he decides to leave my only concern is fair trade value which is 3 first rounds with top 10 guaranteed on 2 of them or including a player like Butters, future picks are too risky imo. Knowing our luck, the AFL will amend the system after we get dudded.

Judd left Eagles, Ablett left Geelong, Franklin left Hawks, Neale left dockers. The world spins on. It’s only hard as it is due waiting through the 2010’s era of absolute bog average players year after year, that in hindsight were never going anywhere.

Anyways, still nothing is known yet. Healthier to deal in facts when they arise than snowballing on innuendo and skepticism while pandering the egos gutter dwelling media personalities.

Dockers the only ones not premiers. Dockers have spent years in the wilderness since that. We've had 2 years in the top 8 in 14 years, it's going to be a massive commercial hit for us.

In some ways turning one player into multiples fast tracks improvement but sets us firmly back into a mediocrity cycle. Nas is the type that wins finals and flags- irreplaceable.

We probably get a couple of promising kids and a future draft pick so fast track the build in a way but also go backwards short term and more mediocre long term unless we arse another star by some luck.

Going by probability, we have uncovered one star player since Riewoldt in 2000. The only other actualised A grade young talent on the list is Hall. Nearly every other kid has gone backwards apart from Windhager, Boxshall and Dodson.

Wilson, Phillipou, Owens, Caminiti, Tauru, Travaglia, Ari etc have dropped off after early promise. LOC and Keeler probably improved too but to a lesser extent.

So just to clarify they don’t know anything and are speculating about everything. It’s very much an attention seeking headline grab.

Let's wait and see. If he goes its been a complete cluster **** of mismanagement.

Not only the negotiation but also the communication around it.

If we have a mass exodus I'm using it to break free of this club. I'd get my winters back and be a more productive person.
Before you do, can you start a blog so I can continue to get my daily dose of Gringo.

????

I don't doom and let my support of the footy club affect my day to day, nor post about it on a forum and attack people who offer advice.

Odd response to a genuine reply.

You do you Gringo.

You are an aggressive poster who spends your time starting fights on a footy forum. Don't offer advice and I won't respond to you. You remind me of Plugger66.

What are you on about... you clearly do let it affect your day to day given your tendency to come on here and start swinging at anything that makes eye contact

We need to talk about the real big move to adelaide
FMD, who would want to live in Adelaide as a young man with money?

We are all different I guess, but the idea of living in Adelaide is propersterous to me if money is no object.

Just so much more going on in Sydney or Melbourne. Even understand the lifestyle appeal of Gold Coast also, or even Perth, but Adelaide?

Absolute snore fest.

Taking that as an aggressive post is indeed odd.

Don't want advice on personal issues, don't post them on a forum I guess ? I honestly don't know Gringo you're a weird unit.

Am I supposed to know who that is ?

Seriously, find other sports in addition to AFL.

I watch basketball which I absolutely love. But many people just don't like it. Fair enough.

For something closer to footy, Melbourne Storm is a great option.

I'm a bandwagon NRL fan for one month every year. That month is starting and it's moderately exciting.

Storm have this amazing capacity to lose players but keep developing others. They've been contenders for 20+ years. More impressive than even Geelong in the AFL.

Premiership favourites this year. Jump on board!

I used to be into other sports, just don't have time for more these days. I've got lots of other shit going on that occupy my time. At this point I'm like a problem gambler that can't give up thinking that a big pay off is coming.

But by round 16 we'll just be equally stressing about Pou, Dodson, Wilson and Sharman after they pump out their best 15 games to date

2026 OOC players at St Kilda

Alex Dodson 2026 NFA
Anthony Caminiti 2026 NFA
Cooper Sharman 2026 NFA
Daniel Butler 2026 NFA
Darcy Wilson 2026 NFA
Eamonn Armstrong 2026 NFA
Mattaes Phillipou 2026 NFA
Paddy Dow 2026 NFA
Patrick Said 2026 NFA
What’s the NFA mean ?

Funny though champion teams always have champion players.

Yeah, most good coaches say that good players make good coaches. You don't win F1 driving a golf cart.

Meant to be a screen shot of Humphrey B Bear going to Adelaide.

7 did pay 2 first round bear picks

Not at all, I just don't believe everything nobody's put on X. Happy to create a post on there about NVM staying if it will make you feel better ?

Somehow NAS wanting to go home is 'complete mismanagement' by the club. We should of repeatedly belittled the importance of family in his life to show him just how professional we are. shrug

I agree, but either way, I still can't see us getting good enough compensation.

Even if this weren’t a compromised draft and Port and Adelaide had a stack of first-round picks, the talent just isn’t there this year based on most expert opinion.

After last year it's beyond disappointing. There were like 15 players I would have loved last year. This year there is probably 2 that look at that level and none are even close to set and forget types.
