I am over St Kilda getting shafted over and over again.

I dont begrudge Nas being closer to his family, but if he leaves I will be very bitter.

Just once can't we have the cards fall our way? and no I don’t mean 30 minutes here and there, I mean as a club. We're doing our best, we're scrapping, just give us a break on the devastating setbacks for a generation or so would ya, footy gods?
So true mate. This was meant to be our Dusty Martin moment who took massive unders to stay with the Tigers. I can’t remember a more depressing time as a Saints fan. Absolutely heartbreaking.

Good friend of Naz

I have a limit

they'll actually be trialing an AFL Race 'Amazing Race' round where you open a gold envelope and it tells you the time and place, and you have to get there within an hour. Personally very excited by this
Why does this not sound too outlandish for the AFL?

If he stays it will be great, but why does he need so much convincing?
The connection to family and sense of community obligations is strong for a young Aboriginal man who is in the formative stages of his life under the spotlight. As angry as I am, I really can’t fault Nas, he needs to take care of himself in a dog eat dog industry. Hopefully he stays but it’s looking grim.

Max Hall is a positive for me. To have a player from the MSD playing that well is a huge bonus.

But I hear ya. It would be nice to see the talk from players about believing in what they're building as a group backed up.

Maybe Sos is being unreasonable though... I don't know.

Since we are all sharing news, as one of the few Saints BF members living in Scandinavia I have been listening out for Tauru whispers.

Heard he is considering a trade home to play for the Oslo Crows. Money isn't as good as what the Saints are offering, but rates the lifestyle here as much better. Especially off the field.

The family is also pissed off at all the Viking helmets, and wants people to know real Viking helmets didn't have horns.

Will update when I can, but my source saw a rugby game once. So he is pretty confident

No different from anyone else imo.

If you can get top dollar and play were you want to you’d have to be a stupid not to. That’s why I think he’s gone, it doesn’t make sense to stay.

I think we’ve lost the plot to be honest based on 1 unbelievable game, what would we be saying if Melbourne had cruised to 4 goal win ?. Nas isn’t repeating that anytime soon that’s for sure.

I actually see him more long term in the same bracket as a Callahan, Kelly, Whitfield. All fantastic players but how many flags have GWS won with them. I’d love to keep Nas but we have a lot of work to do no matter what he decides. If he’s going we have to hope we can salvage something in the trade, it won’t be fair value but that’s the system.

The 22-year-old, originally from South Australia, has Adelaide and Port Adelaide trying to lure him home and Lyon is unsure whether he is any closer to making a call.

"Not that I'm aware of ... in the fullness of time we'll all know the answer," Lyon said.

That’s that then. Relax. We will all know, in the fullness of time.

I suspect the AFL would only block that, if they thought we were getting hosed. Geelong broke that rule without anyone noticing a few years back.
I remember someone going for an exemption, but it wasn't Geelong. They were in a tight spot in 2019 and wound up taking 2 first rounders that year (courtesy of the Kelly trade), they've since used first rounders in 2020, 2022 (thanks to Gold Coast's incompetence) and 2023.

Thought it was the Hawks with O'Meara, but haven't been able to corroborate.

Watching that, he was at Essendon in 2022, and was delisted end of last year. He's turning 22 in October.

Clearly red flags, given no other club has been interested, but there might be some value here.

He's okay. Probably a bit like Collard, he's got skills but pretty low production. He could be a bit of a late bloomer. Probably got the arse because they picked up Gresham while getting Davey and Kako coming up behind them. He was playing a kind of high HF at Essendon in their VFL side.

The fact that we're even exploring signing tex means he's likely to go. If we were confident he was gonna sign, we wouldn't need to make crazy gestures. Really bad signs. Sign tex for the life of Nas' deal tho. Get them living together. Pay Tex a mil a year idc
Although it appears this was an idea a while in the making, not just now, because Tex just missed the June deadline but will be playing club footy here till the end of the year,

Of course, ol Tommy boy brings it up now making out it has just happened. Just like he did with the dinner.

#breakingnews 🤣🤣🤣

I'm getting nervous considering nothing has happened this week. Even if there was an in principle agreement I think you'd get word from the media but nothing is coming out at all.

For some reason I also get this weird feeling that the Crows may swoop here Buddy style. They are on the up and have more assets to give than Port.

We have quite a few very good late bloomers in our team right now….just saying.

Why wouldn’t he still be just playing for port Melbourne ?

Looks like he was struggling for form anyway to be honest and a proper average vfl footballer at best

I get it though I mean I’d sign 5 of him if it kept nas
