Marshall asking for a trade would be helpful for us. Because Moose deserves a sustained crack at playing AFL & that won’t happen for us with
TDK & Marshall.

I understand, but there’s also no guarantee Max King will be healthy next season. Dodson is still developing. Marshalls getting older, and gets a new knock every week. It’s just matter of time before his body gives in. Heaths shown a lot, and so has Keeler. Id persist with this core + TDK for next season and judge end of 2026

I saw a bit of Dodson today and Heath is showing us he’s better than a break glass player.

With what we have on the list why would anyone pay that for another ruckman. Loved Tom hawkins comment on ruckman, I hope our brains trust were listening.

100%! When we made that offer Id suggest Heath was on the delisting pile along with Keels. Id absolutely keep both and Dodson looks a ripper.

Its a real quandary now. I wouldn't be shocked if, as Stav says, SOS is trying to move Roma and change on for Walsh.

Which is why the Marshall to Geelong talks are going on.

Heath and Keeler both progressing as KPF options that could fill a gap if needed while Dodson is the long term unicorn that will take over in the future.

RoMa becomes the awkward depth/rotation option so the obvious thing to do would be to trade him to a contender while he's got value.

Geelong - The obvious choice
Brisbane - If the Sam Draper talk is legit why not talk to RoMa?
Adelaide - Although I rate ROB for them there's always been talk that they want someone that can rotate with Thilthorpe.

All could have some interest.

Exactly, tell him to take 1.3 and give the extra 400k to NAZ, or just say, sorry TDK we are going in a different direction.

Then bump NAZ 2 x 4 mill and Windy a substantial bump.

With Heath showing a bit, Keeler still developing, and Dodson who will be an absolute star (have said it since preseason) we dont need TDK.

I will lose my shit if we pick him up and lose NAZ or Windy, peak frikken St.Kilda.
