I think rich benefactors don’t just donate their money without cause and reason.

If you are selling something for them to donate. You best be giving them the reason for it.

And the whole argument, "no club will take a player who doesn't want to be there" is rubbish. If a Nick Daicos was in a similar situation, you would take him as:

1. you could bring him around to play for the club;
2. you trade him within 12 months and get a king's ransom from the SA clubs.

National Draft + PSD

Or

Just the PSD is my understanding.

He only controls his contract terms ala MSD pick.

So his contract length and money required.

Also, if the club were nervous about it, you'd start doing the prep work now to lessen the blow. If anything, the club are pumping him up--more and more. At the moment, the blow would hit like a sledgehammer.

How about we try and win some games instead of wanting to be the leading first nations team or whatever you want to call it , that means bugger all and as much as it gets you all wet I'm not sure Nas is all that concerned about it
