Lets be real, there is a huge divide between the top 8/9 and the rest. Like the biggest I can recall in following footy to the point where the 9th team missing finals would have been close to top 4 in every other year pts wise.

We are essentially bottom 4 and aren't definitively better than 4 of the teams below us and all it has done is drop us another 4 places in the draft.

In fact I am hoping Carlton return the favor from last year and drop Melbourne in the final round.

Only. Have to wait until Thursday night for a lovely Carlton present.

That's the most important thing , if you really think what you heard has legs fine , whack it up here but even the most die hard supporters must agree that sometimes the stuff post on here is just ridiculous to say the least and not even remotely possible.

They are fair comments,but how does a journalist know the daily proceedings of a clubs and a players managers bid to get deals done.
And therefore how have Saints mismanaged this situation if in fact it is the go home factor.
Should we have offered him $2.5 mil the 1st day of talks
