TWO YEARS AT 2 MIL damn..

Had to do it. In the US, the concept of marquee players is well established - players paid well above the herd. Losing Nas was far more than just losing his footy skills. Would have said a lot about the club, would have dissuaded other players from going to Moorabbin, disenfranchised supporters, probably damaged sponsorships etc etc.

Had to throw everything at him to keep him. Players will follow him, they will want to play with him.
