2025 List Management Discussion - Part 3

Now that our season is over, and news is starting to break - it's time for a fresh thread.

This thread is to discuss all things list management - trades, draft, free agency, delistings and more.
As we are now officially in our off-season, we'll be wanting to keep this thread more strictly on-topic than the previous iterations.
Be respectful. You are allowed to disagree with someone - but play the ball, not the man. Repeat offenders will have their posting rights revoked.

Thanks to Lore once again for this incredibly useful spreadsheet.

So Sam Flanders had ZERO centre bounce attendances tonight. This is despite Rowell, Anderson and Miller all being rested on the bench for the last 10 minutes of the match.

Make it happen Saints!
So much prefer Flanders to McKenzie.
I hope our Hawks friends over earlier are correct and he stays at Hawthorn. Gives me such Billings/Parish vibes, just such a nothing player, no better than Dow or Carroll.
With us having to find draft capital for Ryan and possibly Flanders and Aleer, McKenzie would be another with Hawks asking for the world.
As it is we may have to lose Roh and Steele and Heath. With no second I reckon we use ours this year in some capacity and futures.

Don't hate it.
Fitness is an issue, but a very solid pick up if he stays fit.
Adds a bit more experience to the backline with Wilkie and Sinc's. Three old heads, and two or three under 25's.
Throws the Aleer acquisition out a bit though, if it happens at all.
Port are into Aleer apparently. Makes a lot of sense - he is from Adelaide, and cash is obviously not an issue. Their key defensive stocks are arguably worse than ours. Plus they won't mind the opportunity to gazump us after missing out on NWM.

Feels like the landscape is shifting a bit on this one. Whether the above or the JSOS rumours are true, I can't see a world where we chase them both

Honestly like as long as JSOS is fit for finals I don't see his body being an issue

We'll have Howard/Aleer/Wilkie/Tauru/Caminiti all capable of playing back. If he gets injured during the H&A season then we have decent cover to still bank wins

Ideally the best 23 consists of Howard Aleer Wilkie JSOS in the backline - Tauru might not even fit in
