I think majority of crows group are a bunch of w@nk@rs. The way Josh Rachele celebrated after kicking a goal in the final quarter of their semi final sums up the group. Show ponies, small fish in big pond syndrome.

when I saw this photo of Cal in a crows Guernsey I couldn't help but think, it doesn't suit him.

He kinda allowed Adelaide to **** us and ended up leaving for nothing so **** him.

I’m fine with the ah chee trade, all of it. It’s a money thing, he maybe won’t openly admit it, instead citing a loose family connection and that Adelaide are somewhat in the window as well blah blah- and that’s fine too. Don’t even care we got nothing for him.

I just think that he had a bit of a niche role here that allowed him to somewhat go under the radar. Allowed him to have quieter games. Pop up on occasion. The odd shut down role.

Whether he is afforded the same, I dunno.. “slack” to play that same sort of invisible role at a club whose supporters are actually genuinely unhinged and will start to get impatient. If he averages 0.6 goal and 11 touches a game. Could be an ugly move.
But hey could prove to be a Keays like move, who knows.

his partner is from Adelaide, he has close family ties in Adelaide and he is getting paid nearly double on a 6 year deal.

Anyone with 2 brain cells takes that deal, and he leaves with 2 x medals as well and having played his absolute peak footy in his career in finals, probably playing at a level beyind most thought he was capable of if being honest.

I read somewhere his partner and family is from Gold Coast. But his parents and brother are in Adelaide so it's one of the reasons for him to move there. $ and length of contract makes it a no brainer - I agree.

nah, she's actually from Cairns sorry - had her mixed up with someone.

Her old man is Rick Hanlon, legendary Tassie player who has been running footy programs in NQ for nearly 30 years and is the boss of AFL Cape York. He's a serioously good fella and was an outstanding footballer in the early 90s.
