Is this a serious post, Asking for a friend as I really can't see any of those stay points that's giving me any confidence and you have Windy being unsigned as a positive, I'd say Windy signed is a positive .
I was told he is staying but I can't believe it for one minute, no reason for it to have dragged on this long = Gone

Obviously I want NAS. But we have to pay other guys and attract players to us. I would understand if we have a limit. TDK’s money was from a different lot. Not in the argument. Saved up.

And we are paying a premium to get someone to move. Understandable I think. Many don’t get it. If we backed out no one would ever listen to an offer of ours again.

And lastly, NAS is going to want to play in a good team. If we pay him way over the odds chances are that we won’t get quite the side we hope for. And that he hopes to play in. Very happy to pay him over the odds. But way over……not sure.

• Extension of Bergman at PA allegedly under the premise Nas to stay at Saints
• Hall, Windy, and Pou extensions progressed since last week’s rumours of Nas extension under finalisation (TBC)
• Unlikely deal will be reached with either PA or Adelaide due to lack of draft capital and both RTB and SOS likely to exhaust PSD avenue

Obviously windy being unsigned isn't a positive overall but a lot of people see windy no chance to go which would mean it's money related, and gives hope that Nas is the same reason.

I personally see it as a positive in the case of nas staying

The way Marshall and Windy answered questions about their future was pretty similar… sort of - I want to be here but it will just depend.

I wonder if the group as a whole is really tight and have sort of been pissed off at the idea of bringing in TDK on huge money?

Marshall’s always seemed like a real popular member of the group.. sort wouldn’t be shocked if there was some group resentment at the idea of potentially replacing him.

On top of that the OOC guys waiting to get a pay rise after putting in the hard work - sacrificing their game and tagging for the benefit of the team in Windy’s case - just waiting SOS and co throw out huge money for TDK and Aleer.

Just maybe the groups sort of banding together and channeling a bit of the Geelong model where no one gets paid more than the best guys who were drafted to the team and have been putting in the hard work?

Don't thinks so. Everyone wants him signed.
I reckon there will be misery guts poster complaining we paid 2 mill x 2 without extensions.
Can guarantee SOMEONE will be unhappy.

He's absolutely ****ed if it works out that way.

Even if the club makes all the player payments public and walks every member through the negotiation emails, he's going to be blamed for chomping up so much cap that we 'lost' Naz.
