Nah,Yeah if the Dees and their fans genuinely think this is the end of the story i think they will be very disappointed.
I would be very surprised if within the next three years this discussion doesn't occur again, the only difference this time around is that they have absolute contract control for eternity.
Nah,
It’s done. You can’t walk back that sort of money unless he is playing terrible and the Dees want to move him on and will pay half his contract.
I can’t see it and no point wasting energy on him anymore as a potential Freo player.
He will 100% get home sick and be tempted to trade. Literally all his manager has done is secure his financial future.Nah,

I’ve been reading the Harley Reid trade thread and apparently he’s only a set of steak knives in that deal according to some WC fans.Should see how much we can Nic Martin paid next
They are looking at a potential exodus and want to retain their most marketable player. If they are paying that much then potentially one of Oliver/Petracca is gone. You would think that if one leaves the other would follow shortly. Gawn will be retiring soon and the coach will follow. The only positive for me is that they are good at recruiting talent.Honestly that's a seriously risky contract for Melbourne. Would not feel comfortable with that from Freo.
Chads 2 year deal was at mega money too, more than we would have offeredI've gotta say the difference in positions that Warner and Kozzy have both taken are quite funny.
Warner considers coming home, offered a massive long term deal, ums and ahs for months and then commits to a middling 2 year deal to take him to free agency to make a decision then
Kozzy considers coming home, offered a massive long term deal, immediately says "yes please I would like 1.4 mil a season thank you"
Honestly I reckon we will just have a decision to make about which one we chase harder in 2027
