Will do the combined goals/assists after the game tomorrow or more likely to be Tuesday but Riley Thilthorpe is first with 5 blokes on equal second at this stage

FB: Dayne Zorko - Sam Taylor - Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera
HB: Lachie Whitfield - Jacob Weitering - Jack Sinclair

C: Hugh McCluggage - Matt Rowell - Andrew Brayshaw
F: Tom De Koning - Nick Daicos - Tom Liberatore

HF:Toby Greene - Josh Treacy - Ben Keays
FF: Ben Long - Riley Thilthorpe - Paul Curtis

I/C: Bailey Smith - Noah Anderson - Touk Miller - Zac Merrett

Unlucky - Caleb Serong, Ed Richards, Jordan Dawson

Going to be very hard to fit Bont, Butters, Rozee etc coming back from injury if they keep up their current form. A lot of players having very good seasons so far.

Great call on Paul Curtis, he is going along nicely.

Darcy Moore having a tremendous season

WalshistheGOAT

Yes, he is in most rolling All Australian Teams of balanced unbiased experts.

Good luck getting that one past Cornes who describes him as the most gettable key defender in the comp. Pies have been good but Moore is still prone to getting flogged by a good KPF, Sam Darcy took him to the cleaners when they played one another.

Have a look how many contests Moore has lost this year then get back to me. Is in almost all teams.

Have a look at his intercept marks and contested grabs this year compared to the best in the business Taylor, Weitering and Andrews.

Sam Darcy took 6 contested marks and kicked 4 on him a few weeks ago.

Still a way off the team for mine

He’s well behind the other big keys like weaters and even some of the smaller guys like Vlastuin are have better years

I like Moore but he’s definitely not in the frame for AA at this stage

Surely can’t pick that backline. Four of them don’t defend.

Have to pick a genuine third defender, probably Guthrie.

Yet most media outlets have him in the team. He has been the best defender in one of the best defences. Pies average 66 kicked against them having played 6 of last years finalists. Moore is the main reason why.

Unfortunately actual defenders are rarely picked. If it were up to me I'd have an Idun or Ash type.

Same goes for Wings and HFF, nearly always end up with a couple of extra inside mids there instead of actual wings and HFFs

I’d much rather a third key tall or a medium defender, plenty of those to justify getting in.

Max Gawn 10 clearances against Freo, slow start to the year but the big guy is coming for his 8th (count 'em, EIGHTH) AA!!!

Serong been very good this year, and that campaigner got SMASHED by Jack Viney, could be a smokie for a bench spot IMO.

Bowing probably winning Dees best and fairest currently, few Sainters lining up for that HBF role would be looking over their shoulders IMO.

Kozzie Pickett, 5 goals. BIG start to the season!!!

I don’t understand how these stats work.

AFL app saying he has lost 1 defensive contest all year. Yet Darcy put him to the sword.

Any ideas?

Combined goals and assists round 6:

1. Riley Thilthorpe 24 (16/8)
2. Josh Treacy 21 (18/3)/Ben King (18/3)/Jack Higgins (17/4)/Darcy Fogarty (16/5)/Taylor Walker (14/7)
7. Paul Curtis 20 (15/5)
8. Mitch Georgiades 19 (15/4)/Ben Long (13/6)
10. Toby Greene 18 (14/4)/Sam Darcy (14/4)/Ben Keays (12/6)

I think this is the first time I've had so many players from the one team in the top 10 (well, 12, but still). Shows how good Adelaide's forward line has been this year.

If Dangerfield isn’t in your forward line, you can have a good hard look at yourself.
