not bad. My metrics have Dawson over Bailey SmithFB: Dayne Zorko - Sam Taylor - Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera
HB: Lachie Whitfield - Jacob Weitering - Jack Sinclair
C: Hugh McCluggage - Matt Rowell - Andrew Brayshaw
F: Tom De Koning - Nick Daicos - Tom Liberatore
HF:Toby Greene - Josh Treacy - Ben Keays
FF: Ben Long - Riley Thilthorpe - Paul Curtis
I/C: Bailey Smith - Noah Anderson - Touk Miller - Zac Merrett
Unlucky - Caleb Serong, Ed Richards, Jordan Dawson
Going to be very hard to fit Bont, Butters, Rozee etc coming back from injury if they keep up their current form. A lot of players having very good seasons so far.

I don’t understand how these stats work.
AFL app saying he has lost 1 defensive contest all year. Yet Darcy put him to the sword.
Any ideas?
Excluding Darcy Forward line for mine would be (You can't have 4 talls. No idea what ESPN Are thinking)
Based of my scores, I'm making a slight pesonal adjustment for Paul Curtis for goals kicked given very similar scores.
I'm chosing Treacey over Jeremy Cameron only just.
I've changed to Treacey for CHF only because he has reasonable more goals and they all have similar scores. I think more emphasis to be placed on the extra goals.
Dangerfield | J Cameron/Treacey/Walker| Ben Long
Toby Greene | Thilthorpe | Keayes/Curtis
Not so sure it's clear cut. Heres's what I've got with my stats, compared with Toby Greene. The scores are based on my ratings benchmarked from elite games.Probably an example of how output can be deceiving.
Cameron definitely has had his moments, hasn’t been poor by any stretch. But I think he’s kicked only one less goal than Dangerfield yet the latter has indisputably had a far bigger influence. Has basically been our most influential player in 3 straight wins. And kicked both his goals against Freo in our other win in the first half when we set up the result.
Cameron has definitely had a bit of a say but yeah, not the impact Danger has

Never thought anything of it. I started this project to take away any bias I might have had for or against players. Everything has it's limitations.I’m not being a d**k so please don’t interpret it that way but have you watched the matches?
I didn’t see the Brisbane game as I was driving but watched the others.
Cameron at the moment is probably putting himself around the ball more because for the most part Geelong are resisting the urge to move Dangerfield to the middle almost at any cost whereas Cameron has always been a running forward anyway who gets up to the middle so he naturally still finds himself getting more of the ball, being involved in play a little bit more. So his overall output is probably a little bit better on paper.
He’s not having nearly the same bearing on matches though.

I think a huge part of the bias is the more we hear someones name, the more we are likely to think about them when doing our teams, either negatively or positively.
I'm just saying these are the values of the players based on my system.
It's showing Average games at 50-55 points, excellent games at 70-80, elite over 90. Danger and Cameron are sitting about the same. I think for example, Rowell is scoring higher than I think he deserves because of his tackle count which I think needs nerfing.
The stats will never show a tap down from a marking contest, or macro events that put pressure on the opposition.
Smart move not to get in 1 on 1s versus DarcyYes, has only lost one defensive contest this year. Remarkable. Have a look at the Darcy goals closer.
I've got Dangerfield in my team atm. Think It's Thilthorpe, Treacey, Long, Greene, Dangerfield, and Curtis. Ideally I'd like to see Georgiades in there but hasn't quite got there. Cameron and Walker are close. That’s fair enough.
He’s definitely not been poor and has had a part in each of the wins, just not the ‘in the conversation as the best player in the game’ Cameron that he has been previously whereas Dangerfield has been that sort of ‘ok where is he???’ presence whenever the ball goes forward for us
Houston, Pickett, Hogan and Schultz probably haven’t played enough games at this point.B Ash S Taylor Wanganeen-Milera
HB Houston Sicily Whitfield
C Sidebottom Rowell Merrett
HF Horne-Francis Hipwood B Smith

FOLL Cameron Dawson N Daicos

There is no arguing this, Danger has been our best player this year and Cameron has been ok. Moments have separated the two and the attack on the ball, things that cannot be measured on paper.I’m not being a d**k so please don’t interpret it that way but have you watched the matches?

Have I ever been known to slander a great player like Nick Daicos?Surely this is a typo from you Walshy.
So based on this...
