No doubt there would have been an alignment and a belief at the start of the season. But as a player when your team is leading at half time in 8 or 9 of the first ten games and you get picked apart in the second half then your belief in the game plan starts to waiver. There is no doubt they were trying their darnest in the first half of the year. You don't lead at half time in almost every match if you're not.

But as a player., when you realise your system is been systemically pulled apart in the second half of every game doubts creep in. And like what has happened in pretty much every much since the GWS game last year. Our one wood has been completely nullified if it's effect and our primitive system of going inside 50 is easily countered.

Even more so, the best teams move the ball with brilliant patterns of ball movement and half the time they aren't looking at the player they are handballing it to because they know that their system means someone should be there. It is a complete shock to the system when we string together 3 or more handballs together.

Don’t disagree. What is stopping our leaders from having the conversations that need having with our coaches?

Yeah baby - if only McFly was at Carlton - Fogarty would become Nick Daicos overnight!! 😂 😂 😂

They're telling you to get off your high horse, which is a bit rich.

Thanks for the explanation. I’ve got admit I wouldn’t have made the connection otherwise. That said I don’t particularly care about the implication. People can have different opinions. It gets a bit tricky when some posters have multiple opinions that often contradict themselves or just attack people with different views to theirs but such is life. It certainly won’t stop me saying my piece and if people don’t like it then they can block me and only hear from people who they agree with.

I’m obviously very much for keeping Voss. I found the Sheehan hit piece about the club being stuck in the old days interesting. Some of it was completely off the mark, for example in recent years we have embraced the new world order with the list build through the draft. However som did it was right. We sack coaches for fun. We let players become too powerful without good reason. I firmly believe we have to try something different this time or else we will be without success for a very long time.

Gatekeeping a club from fellow fans is horrid and entitled. Let people fan how they fan
So is saying that a win is meaningless just because you don’t like the coach. There’s a few people on here who have been sprouting and theories about Voss being a bully to young players, losing certain players who aren’t happy with the game plan and in some instances just plain making shit up to suit their narrative. As if the atmosphere after a home win at the G with two rookies experiencing their first win could be compared to that of a morgue as one poster put it. It goes both ways.

I doubt Fogarty would be in the side. Lucky for him though, Voss sees him in our best 18, as one of our 4 defensive forwards…….

way to miss the point :thumbsu:

of course McFly would find players that Voss refuses to find the whole football department refuses to find - so many top grade players Nick Daicos's all over the place- hidden away and ignored by Voss and Co.

Lots of comments/assumptions without evidence ever being provided

Yet others have agendas? Seems personal to me ;)
