must be hard for the Hawks to see the player Hall is becoming after developing him through their VFL program, intending to draft him mid-season, only to have another club keen and fortuitously below them on the ladder at the time

haven't really thought this through, but maybe if we had a nationwide reserves comp then every club could have a reserves list and be given the ability to promote player(s) prior to each draft period. strengthen the bond between the 1s and 2s and hopefully attract some decent talent to the comp

Cooper Duff kicked two, one was from a holding call and im not even sure it was against Barrat, one was from a terrible turnover on our D50 and he was out the back, hard to blame Barrat for that, one did drop very short in the wind as the commentators said "the ball almost fell vertically down at the end" which yes Barrat should have predicted but not too damning, and I missed the first one

The fifth goal was on mclennan lol, just because Barrat is a defender doesn't mean he's accountable for all the players

Hes playing full back and Essendon are rotating their talls. All 5 goals were kicked directly by Barrat's opponents, beaten by Sellers for 2, Cooper-Duff for 2 and then Monteath.
