Is it just me or does everyone turn into emotional pygmies after a loss.
Depends how we lose

If we get smashed & show lack of effort, yes.Is it just me or does everyone turn into emotional pygmies after a loss.
Lipinski for pick 50 might be the silliest thing I’ve seen in a whileGoing to to potentially open a can of worms, but here I am.
Jordan De Goey.
We're always waiting for him to hit his high potential and break a game apart. He's played nearly 180 games, he's had his chances in my uneducated opinion. He lacks consistency.
I feel he would be worth trading out, whether a highish pick or a decent player.
Patrick Lipinksi.
Under paced, very vanilla footballer. Trade him for a pick around 50 if we can find a suitor.
Brayden Maynard.
If he wants to go, I'd let him, but only if he wants too, otherwise, keep him, but don't over pay.
Look for a Key Defender. We missed Howe last night, but let's face it, he's 35 in June and won't be around for much longer. Moore is a lynchpin back there, but his crash and bash type means his body may not hold up for another five years.
Frampton is serviceable but....he's Frampton.

Clearly you haven't seen my other posts.Lipinski for pick 50 might be the silliest thing I’ve seen in a while
He's a hidden gem that one, I have a good feeling about him.Hustwaite looked pretty good…
The same number as your Mum. But what's thatvHow many games of AFL did you play?
I agree with that. I'd prefer to give Ed Allen a go instead. Not everyone can be tough and hard. Beau is the one with that reputation who is doing absolutely nothing. Pat is an outside player and plays that role quite well. Trying to turn him into Darren Millane is just not going to happen. He’s an easy whipping boy. Beau is one who needs to lift for a so called “tough guy”.
The same number as your Mum. But what's that got to do with Lipinski? How many games of AFL did you play?
I feel Fiorini mght be in an inbetweener. Too good for VFL, but not consistent at afl?Time for the annual “look how good Fiorini is doing in the 2s”. Moyle also keeps crushing it

Oh dear. Now Brisbane are getting Coleman back. Their list is endless. No wonder I hate them so muchTime for the annual “look how good Fiorini is doing in the 2s”. Moyle also keeps crushing it

I’m not sure if it’s inconsistency or just a bit vanilla at AFL level. He gets plenty of uncontested footy in seniors, but doesn’t do much defensivelyI feel Fiorini mght be in an inbetweener. Too good for VFL, but not consistent at afl?
Yeah, their fans seem to think while he gets the ball, he doesn't use it well enough - especially at afl level.I’m not sure if it’s inconsistency or just a bit vanilla at AFL level. He gets plenty of uncontested footy in seniors, but doesn’t do much defensively
47 disposals, 11 tackles, 3 goals - now that is actually too good. Most of the time we say too good for VFL it's because they're a pretty good VFL player.I feel Fiorini mght be in an inbetweener. Too good for VFL, but not consistent at afl?
Could you imagine if we had a player getting those numbers in the VFL & they weren't being selected47 disposals, 11 tackles, 3 goals - now that is actually too good. Most of the time we say too good for VFL it's because they're a pretty good VFL player.

Just wait until Mitchell comes backCould you imagine if we had a player getting those numbers in the VFL & they weren't being selected![]()

They’re old school NEAFL numbers he’s put up the last two weeks not VFL! I think the thing with Fiorini is he’s always been a 20ppg AFL mid which is a step up from the Bianco, Poulter and Brown’s of the world who can get good looking numbers at that level and not handle the step up. The problem for him now is his limitations hurt him in the current game.Time for the annual “look how good Fiorini is doing in the 2s”. Moyle also keeps crushing it

Agree wholeheartedly. There is definitely a team out there that could get a few seasons out of him, but I don't think it's us. I'd like a flier on BrowneThey’re old school NEAFL numbers he’s put up the last two weeks not VFL! Good depth for us, but not someone who’s getting a game every week so I’d prefer an untapped Browne myself if there’s a list spot there for a mature mid. West Coast though need to be knocking on his door!
The last thing we need is another NQR.Agree wholeheartedly. There is definitely a team out there that could get a few seasons out of him, but I don't think it's us. I'd like a flier on Browne
The Dogs already have several players on very high salaries in addition to JUH on $800k until the end of 2026, and Richards likely commanding close to $1m a year as a UFA. It’s conceivable that unless they’re somehow able to shed the entirety of JUH’s salary at the end of this year that the Dogs could be priced out of retaining Bont by us or another club without that contract being even close to $2m.I get that. In a hypothetical world, if Nick left for $2mil per year, I think most people wouldn’t be happy. Most people would want to burn down the joint.
My point was more around that Bont is choosing not to sign. It’s not that Bulldogs can’t meet his financial demands - he’s literally their greatest player. If the dogs can’t afford him (due to an insane salary ask) we definitely wouldn’t be in the frame either.

Like Kyle Martin you mean?Could you imagine if we had a player getting those numbers in the VFL & they weren't being selected![]()

As their captain one of their greatest ever players they’d have likely planned for him to be staying for slightly unders, as most players of those type tend to do. I’m sure they didn’t plan for him to potentially be a bit disgruntled and considering rival offers.I’m sure they would have planned for Bont to be out of contract in 2025. The more I think about it, the more I feel like Bont is going to leave.
It’s not money related 100%.
