Hopefully Pendles and Sidey will be 3 time premiership players when they do....Mason gone
Howe Sidey and Pendles will play another year
I can't see Pendles going on past next year.

Don’t you mean 4Hopefully Pendles and Sidey will be 3 time premiership players when they do....
It has a magical ring to it![]()

Wonder how much Van Rooyen would cost in a trade sense. Has been sent back to the Magoos and hasn’t exactly set the world on fire.
Personally I really liked him as a key back in his draft year and think we could easily reprogram him. Played a lot like Noah Bolta for WA through the champs.
We regularly delist that many and more.Realistically the club won't shed 9 players at seasons end.
A reasonable list…from number 35 to 35!

Ps…and AJ hopefully can return to this discussion this year too.
The bolded is for good reason! The only interest I’d have is in a KPD role, but I have concerns over his competitiveness and second efforts. Like Cox he gets shifted off balance quite easily and unlike Cox once he’s out of position he doesn’t have much about him to overcome it (Cox is unusually spry at ground level for his size). At least as a defender halving contests can be wins which is why I’d be willing to take a look. What’s his trade price? I doubt Melbourne would accept his current worth…Wonder how much Van Rooyen would cost in a trade sense. Has been sent back to the Magoos and hasn’t exactly set the world on fire.

It’s a no for me then. That’s too big an investment in a guy you’re reprogramming. We have McInnes to return next year, who I have more faith in, on half the contract value and whoever replaces Dean.Hence, why I suggested reprogramming him as a defender. I wouldn’t wouldn’t him as a full time forward.
Given his contract and length (750k @ another 4years reportedly), if we took on the whole contract the Dees might be open to offers.
$750K for an unproven defender?Hence, why I suggested reprogramming him as a defender. I wouldn’t wouldn’t him as a full time forward.

He's on how much?!? If we're taking on that entire contract I would want incredibly generous draft capital too. Or GawnHence, why I suggested reprogramming him as a defender. I wouldn’t wouldn’t him as a full time forward.

Won't be bringing in 9 players this year, McCarthy, McGuane and Saxena maybe a rookie and and a player from another club so 5 max.We regularly delist that many and more.
Can you reprogram his hands of stone? He makes Dawes clunk look sticky fingered!Wonder how much Van Rooyen would cost in a trade sense. Has been sent back to the Magoos and hasn’t exactly set the world on fire.

I don't think there's any way of categorically knowing this in May. Not many had us nabbing Houston this time last year, and I don't think anyone thought we'd get Membrey for absolutely nothing.Won't be bringing in 9 players this year, McCarthy, McGuane and Saxena maybe a rookie and and a player from another club so 5 max.
An opportunity to be the new North Melbourne lost foreverI'm still bitterly disappointed we are top of the ladder and didnt go full scale rebuild after last season retiring our all time greats, not going after Pez/Houston and having the youngest best 23 in the comp
Imagine getting to brag about how young we are like Bomber and North fans doAn opportunity to be the new North Melbourne lost forever
If only... I will settle for a flag as a measly consolationImagine getting to brag about how young we are like Bomber and North fans do
History suggests we'll have more than 5 list changes.Won't be bringing in 9 players this year, McCarthy, McGuane and Saxena maybe a rookie and and a player from another club so 5 max.
It kills me to my core posting this, but I think they’re closer to the mark than Quicky. I’m maxing out at 7 including the MSD. I think we only get to 9 through an open SSP spot and taking multiple rookie picks which we haven’t done since 2020 (I think).I don't think there's any way of categorically knowing this in May. I know absolutes are your thing, but might want to settle down.
