Yep, seen some Pies fans on Twitter saying we should be "looking to the future" at the MSD given our age profile. But if we all accept we're chips in for a flag this year and we have little confidence in Frampton and Dean, it makes very little sense to draft a kid that will spend the rest of the season developing in the twos.

It's the way to go. Doesn't even cost you a kid anyway as most likely Tomlinson gets delisted end of year and you add a kid from a bigger pool that you probably rate just as highly or higher then. And if Tomlinson doesn't get delisted he's impressed so that's a win anyway.

Its stark really. Bobby, Tay, Perryman, WHE, Elliot versus Williams, Haynes and some other kurbside rubbish

Even if we back Frampton to do a great job all season, losing Reef robs us of depth across the back, as well as any other holes he could plug if needed. Injuries will happen.

So I like the idea of Tomlinson as a plug and play, experienced big body to put in the rotation.

I think ideally we get a plug and play key defensive option. Ideally they are 23-25 yo but if Tominson is clearly the best option then probably worth a throw at the stumps for 4 months
