I’d be happy to see Merrett go to Hawthorn in that scenario if it relegated Ginni to the scrap heap for the rest of his career.

But it would never happen. Hawks will probably end up getting him for a 2nd rounder and a VFL player.

I was also quite tongue in cheek with the Treloar stuff. I’m familiar with the company you keep and whilst I stand by the reporting over your feedback I don’t for a second doubt the level of where it’s come from and understand completely why you’ll stand by it.

I wouldn't read anything at all into real estate purchases anymore. They're wealthy young men with financial advisers guiding them to make decisions for well beyond the next 5 years.
