Makes sense why Cal Wilkie is upset. The Saints list manager getting his son a fat pay day. ****ing hell how funny.

Wilkie and Windhager have been asked to Car Pool to and from training for 2026 in order to save costs at the club. They have also been asked share gym towels and a round of peanut butter sandwiches for post training recovery nutrition.

Surely a shrewd operator like Rawlings can exploit this situation and land us some big fishes?? OK hang on it’s Rawlings and he will deliver some under sized minnows in LittleLij (Tsatsas) and Mr 18in25 (Spargo). 2x 4 year specials coming up. Just dust off the Fisher contract and repeat.

They showed more than us this year, but so much more that they can get the best free agents available while we're lining up for Spargo and Tsatas? I feel like there's more to this than ladder position.

Yea mate hopefully. Surely Saints money is running out if they’ve signed Silvagni as well. Liam Ryan doing a medical and also Leek Aleer is being thrown about around at Moorabbin.

How the **** do they think they’ll fit them all in under the salary cap?

That was my first thought.
If Saints are also getting Ryan and Aleer. With rumors of Flanders as well. Plus TDK signing, and the contract for NAS.

Surely it increases the odds that a Windhager, or a Wilkie end up leaving

You know … other than TT being poorly handled, JHF disaster and potentially Wardlaw.. to not have players walk like what Carlton are doing is a pretty good feeling. I know we are over paying em and they probably wouldn’t get the same money else where and most of em probably wouldn’t get a game else where but at least we arent Carlton (yet)

What has also bugged me a little is Clarko’s references of players not wanting to come to North whereby Ross has always been much more positive on that front. Perhaps we’re just a year away from being able to attract the free agents.

At least Spargo is a FA, but is he a better prospect than Banch, Hansen, Konstanty, Harvey & Payne? This whole bunch could be dead wood by the end of 2026 if they are not already.

We have absolutely no need for a midfielder who can’t kick and lacks physicality. I mean seriously why is this even a debate? I don’t care if titsarse is Wardlaw’s mate.

I reckon his ceiling would be a poor mans sam gibson if you could get him to kick within his limitations and build a tank. cant see him ever being in the guts. if you traded him for say Will who aint going to be getting a ones game anyway its not a lot of capital.

That’s why we shouldn’t entertain the idea of getting them and add more list cloggers. Draft kids and bide our time until we can attract better players.

As a matter of personal philosophy, I don't watch * games unless they're playing North, so I admittedly haven't seen much of Tsatas. However, based on the various descriptions in this thread (no tank, physically weak, poor foot skills), he sounds like a Temu Curtis Taylor
