Was a big mistake not selecting him.

The more I think about Treloar's performance in the past two VFL games the more I believe we got it wrong in not selecting him for the Freo game. We all knew that he came with a certain amount of risk but even as sub he would have been valuable. He just knows where to position himself at stoppages and his hands are elite in finding a team mate. He could have been very important in stopping Freo's mids from bursting away and creating so much run. All water under the bridge now but perhaps we erred too much on the conservative side.

Bevo said in his presser he was sick and wasn't available.

Hopefully it involved us pointing out that if the umpire did his job then the incident probably wouldn't have happened.

Hopefully we get Buss & Croft back in next week. If Scott / Dolan are available we should have a very strong line up. Even without Doc.

Southport are hosting the other Prelim so I doubt they'll have that one as the televised match on channel 7 Melbourne.

Yep. Bris already have a few out, with Neale's injury last night, their VFL team will be further weakened next week.

We'd have to fancy our chances against them.

When we played them the VFL Lions never got close despite +9 frees at their ground. Obviously always go in expecting to potentially lose so you have to scrap to win but Southport are the only team left that scares me.

WB v BL last year was an epic. So many lead changes in the final qtr before we eventually won. BL had a kick after the siren to win the match.
