search your emails, I've received a couple of emails from the club this year with member barcodes. We are planning to go to the Lions v Melb game at the MCG in Round 6. Ticketing is done by Ticketek and as far as I can ascertain, sales start tomorrow on Ticketek at 10:00am for club members.
I haven't received anything from the club re member barcodes, but did get an email with barcodes earlier this month for the Suns game at Carrara (this is also handled by Ticketek).
In the absence of any imminent emails/barcodes from the club, does anyone know if the ones we received for the Suns/Ticketek will work for the Melb game?
Not sure I would worry to much about missing out on a seat. I think it will be a big year for the Ds supporters at Falls Creek this year. 6-Feb: Subject: Member Ticket Pre-sale opens MONDAY!
4-Feb: Subject: Don't miss our pre-season match
Your barcode for 2026 stays the same be it ticketek or ticketmasterThanks braddsey, I have those emails but the 4-Feb one seems to refer exclusively to Ticketmaster, and the 6-Feb one doesn't have any barcodes but does look like access to Round 6 tickets might open tomorrow.
In the absence of any updates, I'll try the 13-Feb Suns' email which included 'member barcodes'. Failing that, I'll just try on Wednesday in the public ticket sales window (in the past this has often provided better seats than the members allocated block)!

Would something like this ever work over gather round? Entire round at the Adelaide Oval starting on the Wednesday,1 ticket gets you an entire day on Saturday and Sunday. I don't see anything changing next year with the same teams getting booted to the sticks with the normal big Vics hogging the centre stage. Of course it's all about money with the AFL but i feel like this would have the weekend pumping.
Wednesday
Port V Saints 7:00pm
Thursday
Adelaide V Brisbane 7:30pm
Friday
Hawks v Pies 7:30pm
Saturday

Freo V Suns 4:00pm
Geelong V Bombers 7:40pm
Sunday
GWS V West Coast 12:00pm
Carlton V Demons 3:15pm
Sydney V Dogs 7:00pm
Magic Round has every game at the 1 venue, Suncorp. So, it's possible. This. The argument that SA is the only state that it can be played in is BS. Either play it in states at grounds with fully seated venues or can the BS concept that now rewards the SA teams with an additional home game.
They’ll be desperate to give a gather round to Tassie once the stadium is built (if not before). Ensure the government is rewarded for the massive investment in stadium(s).You can't tell me that a junket to the Gold Coast wouldn't be better than one to Adelaide. Games in Brisbane and Carrara, parties on the GC.
Problem with AFL (there are many) is that they want to stick with a formula. Perhaps play every second of gather round in SA and elsewhere the other years. Also, rotating between SA, WA, Qld and NSW would work as well.
With the talk of playing Lions at ẢO next gather round but having low traveling fan base, I rekon you can lock in a game v Adelaide or Port in GR2027
I get really grumpy about this "low traveling fan base" rubbish... how do we know? How does anyone know? People talk about "no Lions fans ever come to Gather Round". Well why is that I wonder? Could it be that only very few of us were able to get tickets to their match??With the talk of playing Lions at ẢO next gather round but having low traveling fan base, I rekon you can lock in a game v Adelaide or Port in GR2027
I hope you caught it on camera, so it can be strategically deployed to your preferred social media platform, about 4 days before our round-17 trip to Geelong. For example, I went along to the Geelong v WCE game at Norwood got flipped off by Bailey Smith. This was only possible as Bailey was able to clearly hear me congratulate him on finding his headband from the middle of the MCG last September.
