must have missed it earlier in the week but mulgrave seem to have picked up A absolute jet in the form of Varagiannis. I Watchedhim a few times in the TAC cup during 2019/2020 (not 100% sure the exact year) and he was a Seriously smooth mover. has Bit of VFL experience on him too which might come in handy.
Also - what has happened to Annakis, was a jet at Donny back in the day And went to Heathmont for 2025. could have swore I saw a commitment post on Donny's socials for 2026 but it has gone. anyone got News?

He's old, playing days would be close to being over. Could play though

He'll be 38 at the start of the season.
Has a family now and all his mates have retired. Was also blamed heavily along with Rambaldi for the clubs downfall so you can see why he wouldn't wanna go back, but in saying that he was/is good mates with both coaches so you never know

Just checked out, says Varagiannis is a junior coming back too so yes, could be a very good get and a one pointer.

From Doncaster East, perhaps “wasn’t willing to do the work to get to the standard” or whatever the pres said about players who leave… the standard to finish 8th with possibly the biggest payroll in Victoria 😂😂😂

Not sure what context this is coming from but Chris is very much loved at the club & not blamed by those at the club. He has attended public meetings conducted to get the club up again.
Chris had strong family connections with the club. I think you will find his brother is treasurer & other family members regularly attend games.
If he plays it will be with the Sharks with some of his long time on field mates, but unfortunately his body is shot.

At least you were 50% correct.

Port Melbourne FC is in the news in more ways than one. https://www.theage.com.au/national/...flict-of-interest-claims-20251111-p5n9bh.html

"A storied VFL club that employs a host of football stars has been dragged into the rolling construction industry scandal amid allegations it was improperly propped up with CFMEU members’ funds and building firms seeking to curry favour with union powerbrokers.

The AFL is weighing how to respond to revelations that sponsors of the Port Melbourne Football Club include a crane company implicated in a major alleged tax fraud and a second firm linked to a bikie gang".

Reckon cash hoping to curry favour is how a lot of footy sponsorships happen!

CFMEU shouldn't be donating however.

i'd be more worried about your '19's....numbers are low and you've lost a good under 19's coach, has he been replaced?
Sad to see Aaron Smith depart. He has a lot on his plate as he is also a school principal. My understanding is that the U19s numbers are fine. Brad Jones steps up from coaching the U17s to the U19s. Assistance is Max Wills and Hayden Spaulding. It's not all doom and gloom at EB which no doubt pisses some people off.
