i watched that episode three with sheezel, he singled out zurhaar and had nothing but praise for his effort.

do i believe harry or the bloke who thinks duursma is going great
The singling out of Zurhaar, one of the very few shining lights for the last decade, is one of the more curious things I've seen on here.

Graham, Schultz and McCreery play more selflessly and accountably than Zurhaar. The don’t have the goal tallies but they average twice as many tackles and twice the pressure acts as Cam. They make their teammates play better.

Zurhaar has work to do on that front imo.
This...

They also have limited but well-defined roles in well organised teams. Cam has never had that opportunity; in fact, it's hard to tell what type of player we are trying to develop him into. Despite this, he was one of our most consistent and better performed players last year, which is why he was elevated into the leadership group. Not sure why so many on here seem to think he is such a problem.
Because his direct opponents were involved in twice as many scoring chains at least and they did it under no pressure.

He brings the ability to put the ball through the big sticks. Quite important on the scheme of things.

Now 6 Zurhaars up forward wouldn't work, just like 6 McCreerys wouldn't work. Lots of tackles would be laid, but you'd have no one with the capacity to actually score.

Um, guess you're not in the market for 6 Mahonys then?

Twas the 2007 qualifying final. Corey went in as a 40+ goalkicker and Harley smashed him over the boundary line in the forward pocket, and that was that.

We lost by 100+
That was the game where Donald McDonald said mid week he'll be right and next minute Jones hobbles behind on crutches. Shouldn't have played. Neither should have Spud or Harris. If not a final, those three would have been in having surgery.

Got a link for that, or did you just make it up?

I'm finding this narrative that he isn't a team player a bit incongruous with him being voted into the leadership group by the players and finishing higher in the Syd than the other forwards. Clearly neither his teammates nor the coaches view him that way.

We seem to be going with a reverse psychology approach on BF this pre-season. Expect not and we can’t be disappointed. Unfortunately, ultimately, we’ll be equally disappointed, regardless… Unless, we’re not. 🤣

I made it up because that's what it seems like.

The worst one, and it happened in the first quarter of the first game, was insanely bad and probably biased me for the whole season (but its not the only time.) He's standing on their 50 line with his back to the play and his hands in the air wondering wtf is going on while Parker yells at him and points and Bailey Dale runs past the guy with a free kick and puts it thru from outside 50. ****en appalling. Dale had nine score involvements and 560mg. Zurhaar is right there and unaware... I spose at least he made it down there.

I had the same attitude as the rest of you till the first time I saw him live. He kicked three goals in that game as well but the ball waltzed out of our forward 50 under no pressure at all for the whole game.

You think the players vote on good leaders? Wasn’t there a debate on here a while back that the players should lose their privileges to vote in leaders and it be given to the coaches?

its a bet each way around here.

I provided a shot map of zurhaar from the boundary line. That says it all. Selfish

I disagree with the Zurhaar assessment but respect the honesty.

I make shit up all the time about how our players play according to my opinion and hope you campaigners never call me out on it because then I've gotta find receipts to back up my hunches. It's a very scientific method I have.

This whole forum is all just unironically our opinions on shit.
