For sure. Sounds like they love Draper, think it’d take something very unexpected for him to be removed as the number 1
They like Draper because of his physicality . If Nick played the same way he would be in the side now. Will say that Bryan should be playing Sunday and not at Windy Hill . Still a chance of a late change.

Agreed, they clearly like that style. They’d have been incredibly jealous of what Nank did to us last week

i know this is a Bryan thread, but i value the work goldy does around the ground. It's in stark contrast to Draper
Yeah not saying much though when comparing him to Draper. Albeit draper's saving grace is that he is as good as any ruckman below his knees and when bullocking at stoppage. Goldy used to go OK around the ground but his age has caught up with him.

Anyway, apparently Goldy didn't board the plane so Bryan will come in as a late change

Maybe now we can stop whinging about this guy not playing.

Looked no where near it physically against a guy he should be competitive against.
everyone loved his first quarter, it was his first game all year… maybe you should stop whinging, huh?

Nah mate, he doesn’t compete well enough in the ruck and doesn’t do enough around the ground to compensate for it. I would love him to make it, but I just don’t know how you play him in the ruck when his impact isn’t consistently good enough in there or as a key position when he doesn’t mark it.

maybe, or maybe it's a little unfair to say he doesn't do things "consistently" when n = 1? Plus he was playing number 1 solo ruck when Draper had the benefit of a 2-ruck setup for the most part.
